"Error 14" on closing XYplorer - not reproducible
Not sure if this is of any value but this is the first time I've seen this happen. Since it happened when trying to quit the application I'm posting this here as I couldn't find a similar mention of "error 14" after trying to close XYPlorer. re-opening the app and closing again causes no e...

Re: can i compare 2 panels to find the duplicate files/folders?
while this works for files, how do I search for duplicated FOLDERS in e:\;f:\
As soon as I check "dupes", I only see files, not folders.
My use case is that I want to find folder dupes with the same size

Re: quick (keyboard) way to cancel out of search result view (or go back)?
so I figured out that F7 (go to previous location) does exactly what I am looking for ... but that doesn't mean I understand how this happened. I saw that in the menu before but didn't try it since I thought that this would be the same as 'go back' which is triggered by ALT+LeftArrow or the LeftArro...

quick (keyboard) way to cancel out of search result view (or go back)?
Hi I've been wondering for a while if there is a faster way to exit (go back to previews view) out of a search (find files) result? For quick filters, a simple and understandable ESC does the job. However, for search results, I can see no satisfying way. ALT+back-arrow goes back to the previous loca...

Re: v21.00 *.eml preview not working
not sure, fishing here. There are no firewall rules in place denying xyplorer from downloading the linked content in the EML files.
Funnily enough, I had the same issue on another win10 pro machine. Preview of EML files did not work until restart, I don't see why but it was reproducible.

Re: v21.00 *.eml preview not working
any reason why the preview doesn't download web-content if it already plugs into TB?

v21.00 *.eml preview not working
Hi, I just updated to 21.00 and to my delight I saw message preview being implemented. However, it doesn't seem to work. I don't see *.eml previews other than plain text/raw. Thunderbird is installed, the *.eml files I create by dragging and dropping mails from TB to any folder look just as expected...

Re: network folders with images open really slowly - windows explorer fast
I would put money on it being an image metadata column as the cause and you're absolutely right! That was it! :appl: For whatever reason all columns were selected (which I did not recall doing). I usually have a custom layout loaded with only the necessary ones. This possibility entirely eluded me,...

Re: network folders with images open really slowly - windows explorer fast
hm, that's a bummer. Thank you for trying! I suppose fresh; removes any settings, shortcuts, catalogs? I'm currently not at the computer to check that but it sounds like I would lose all settings, history etc. which would cost a lot of time to reset too. But before it doesn't work at all, I'll use a...

Re: network folders with images open really slowly - windows explorer fast
fresh;
now that worked! I have attached a copy of the ini file but I had to clean many paths, search keywords etc. because those contained classified information/strings. sorry, no way around that!

Re: network folders with images open really slowly - windows explorer fast
yes, the moment the images are gone the folder loads quickly again copy/pasting the images to make more of them (while in the folder) also is much slower than just the file operation, the XYPlorer refresh than takes the same time as loading the folder again test image attached (it's a standard 1024...

no, but in our Sophos Endpoint solution nothing was changed either, just confirmed. We tested it while deactivated... no change.
