Hi phred, hi Don,
keep calm and don't take out "the big gun".
You are busy enough working on XYplorer 64bit... It's quite fine for me as it is now. :-))
Best regards, Markus

Re: Could help file in PDF format also be bundled in installer package?
Hi phred, thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, I asked for the "opposite" than what you proposed. I wanted PDF version of help file, which has the same content as the related CHM file. Currently, I just get the newest version in PDF format, but not older ones. In CHM format, I could extra...

Could help file in PDF format also be bundled in installer package?
Hi All, the current help file in CHM format is always bundled in the installer packages. The help file in PDF format is provided in the support section of the web site and therefore only available "once". Any reasons, why it is not also bundled in the installer? If not bundled in the insta...

Hi Native2904,
seems you are using version v27.00.0604.
Some (most?) of your errors might be solved using newer versions (v27.00.0605 or v27.00.0608. Please try them.
Best regards Markus
P.S.: please excuse, maybe double post

Re: XYPlorer configuration for different project?
Hi All, just for the sake of technically completeness, I would change "C:\Program Files (x86)\XYplorer /ini=C:\Users\OFFLINE-PROC\Documents\alxdvc\XYplorer Cyclades\Cyclades.ini" to "C:\Program Files (x86)\XYplorer" "/ini=C:\Users\OFFLINE-PROC\Documents\alxdvc\XYplorer Cycla...

Hi all, related to "XYplorer goes twinBASIC", here is a news article on BASIC as a programming language in 2025: "Visual Basic: Wie niedlich: Du programmierst ernsthaft in dieser Programmiersprache?" [1]. Unfortunately, it's available only in German, so you might start your trans...

How to convince someone to *test* XYplorer instead of Total Commander?
Hi all, any advice for me how to convince someone to *test* XYplorer instead of current version of Total Commander ( TC )? This person *thinks*, TC does offer more functionality than XYplorer. I have no detailed experience with TC, but doubt he might be right. Thanks in advance and best regards Mark...

Mouse Wheel on Combobox: does not always scroll
Hi All, when using some dialog boxes with comboboxes, I discover kind of a strange behaviour. Hovering the cursor over the closed combobox, I could *not* scroll entries with mouse wheel. Open the combobox using the down-arrow button on the right or key DOWN , I could scroll entries over the editable...

[IMPLEMENTED] Copy cell contents (in list view): copy contents from all selected rows?
Hi All,
currently, I can copy cell contents (in list view) in one row using CTRL + right click, for example columns (attributes) size and date. Could that be enhanced, that one column from all selected rows could be copied?
Thanks and best regards, Markus

Re: SurroundSelection Option ?
Hi GreetingsFromPoland,
not an integrated way in XYplorer, but have you tried AHK (AutoHotKey) or Espanso?
Both work application independent.
Best regards, Markus
