Remember file position and jump to deepest directory?
Hello, I've got two quick questions, which I've tried to search for in settings but didn't find anything. Sorry if I missed it. 1) If you are navigating a directory, then jump out/close and start reopening from the lowest 'depth', XY remembers the last folder position(?). This allows you to tap ente...

If it's too much trouble don't bother. I've settled with the [Highlight Focused Item] option

Re: Cannot see non-selected files outline with Selections: XY classic style
It's like this ever since. AFAIK nothing has changed with the recent update. To see the focused item in classic style you tick either of these: Tools | Customize List | Highlight Focused Item Configuration | Colors and Styles | Styles | Focus rectangle Is there a way to incorporate the windows styl...

Cannot see non-selected files outline with Selections: XY classic style
I am not sure if this is a bug or not, but following the latest update that allows you to change the color of the highlighted files, I have enabled the feature and set it exactly like the screenshot from the patch notes page. When you have one file highlighted, you can highlight files up or down wit...

Can I somehow modify the default shortcut name?
Hello, I create links (e.g. symbolic) quite often. When you go to Paste Special -> Symbolic you get a dialog to type in the file name, and it automatically starts with "SymLink to <filename". Is there any way to get rid of the "SymLink to" permanently instead of manually deleting...

Re: Rename and copy file path via file associations?
Ok, thanks Try this as your new file association: |"Archive" docx;pdf>::$base = gpc(gettoken(<get SelectedItemsNames |>, 1, "|"), "base"); $dst = "<curpath>\Archive\$base\text-"; rename , "$dst*"; copytext "$dst$base.pdf"; Amazing, worked ...

Re: Rename and copy file path via file associations?
Show the code you're using and give a real world example (real file & folder names) I'm in folder C:\Dir, with an empty folder C:\Dir\Archive and a file C:\Dir\Template.docx I manually duplicate the word file, rename to, let's say 123.docx, and export it as a pdf. I now have three files in C:\D...

Re: Rename and copy file path via file associations?
Your step nr. 04 contains the file path that you're moving the files to, correct? Then just use the script command copytext <the variable that contains the path>; to copy the path to the clipboard I haven't set any variables, it's just a single line command. Do I need to do that? Also, how can I se...
