Re: XYplorer not accessible during network copying

1) Yes, local discs, I don't have any network drives/NAS either 2) I use background processing 3) Always custom copy 4) I'll have a look I just tried it with 10.9.0110. It doesn't always stall but if it stalls: I just had it happen with a moving files between HDs (with and without XYCopy.exe). After...

Re: XYplorer not accessible during network copying

18.90.0110 still freezes for me, not always but but during my last move from one HD to another it froze while the copy was ongoing an unfroze when it finished.

Re: XYplorer not accessible during network copying

I must say upgrading from 18.90.0106 to 18.90.0110 fixed the sluggishness that got introduced in 0106 or 0104 or so
where it took like a ~second for the Custom Copy dialog to appear when I moved/copied files.
Now it pops up immediately again after I drag & drop.

No XYCopy.exe = small visual bug in config menu

When XYCopy.exe is missing there's an unneeded leftover "v" from the version number that normally gets displayed in the config menu when XYCopy.exe is present. Steps to reproduce: - Get noinstall.zip - Extract. - Delete XYCopy.exe from the application's folder. - Start XYplorer and go to: ...

I've upgraded and I'll use it as normally and see if it still happens

Or did you?
For me this was/is unticked here.

Re: Drag Status Box - Tree scroll at warp speed

Check the next version, should be fast enough without tweak. I just tried the new beta (v18.90.0106) and the speed's much better now with the "Drag Status Box" enabled. Like you said it isn't as fast as with the "Drag Status Box" disabled but at least the speed's reasonable now ...

Re: Drag Status Box - Tree scroll at warp speed

Would it be possible to make it fast (optional) with the Drag Status Box on since it's really practical.

Re: Drag Status Box - Tree scroll at warp speed

Would it be possible to offer an option in the settings dialog or in the ini to get the old fast scroll behavior back. The way it is now the scrolling's so slow that I have to stop drop&dropping and first have to scroll the three with the mousewheel which is both annoying as it breaks up the flo...

Re: Drag Status Box - Tree scroll at warp speed

I guess it all depends on usage. I doubt I use more than 5 to 10% of all the functionality but nevertheless, it's still more (and better implemented) than all other similar programs can offer and I tried them all. I recommend XY to everyone I know and don't know, forums etc., in the last 10 years. ...

Re: Drag Status Box - Tree scroll at warp speed

I like all the new shiny features and bug fixes :D

To be honest each new version brought for me at least one or more new features that I find handy to have.
Also in the latest version some of the bugs I reported are fixed so I can't really go back to older versions with all the improvements made.

Re: Drag Status Box - Tree scroll at warp speed

I actually liked the fast scrolling at least in <=18.80.0000 before the "Drag Status Box" was introduced. Moving closer to the top/bottom of the tree pane increased speed, as did moving to the left/right with the mouse cursor while dragging. Now it goes fairly slow and doesn't speed up any...

Re: XYplorer not accessible during network copying

I just had another hang on v18.90.0200. Looking at XYplorer.exe in "Process Hacker" I saw it accessing folders on other disks then the ones involved in the file move, probably refreshing the tree. This was the first hang in a while though and it didn't last as long either, so whatever twea...
