I have set it to save on close, but sometimes my PC is running for days on end without being shutdown at any point, and XY is running the whole time. This would ...

Re: Context Menu: Unpack Folder

There is a portable version of FileMenu Tools on Lopesoft's site. I suggest trying it and testing this feature. It goes far beyond just working with zip files. Plus I should mention that there are other archive formats out there that are quite popular besides zip. No one needs to use XY either, the...

Re: Context Menu: Unpack Folder

I could see this having some usefulness, but it's far from a desperate need. Especially since XY's zip features allow you to see if you're extracting into a subfolder or not.

Win XP is approaching its end of life cycle, it would be better if you code with Win 7 / win 8 in mind and have if required work around for earlier versions.

Code: Select all

%personal%;%personal%\ /r
I'll check why the simpler pattern does not work...
That works for me. Thanks :)

... admin:  whoops, I edited/removed your question instead of replying to it -- sorry, first reply in the morning... here is the reply: The leading slash is rubbish, try this: %personal%\ /r>blahblah.ico (air fix) Oops, the leading slash was rubbish on my part, but removing it doesn't help.

I want to place toolbar to the right of addressbar but selecting [Toolbar & Address bar] does not do this
If you want the toolbar on the right you need [Address bar & Toolbar]. Just tested and that works here.

EDIT: as others have said!

Re: Add XYplorer to AutoplayHandlers

Hi there, Can anyone please tell me how I can add XYplorer to AutoplayHandlers so that I can "View files in XYplorer" when I plug in my External HDD, Flash Drive or Memory Card? Cheers. I remember something like TweakUI could do this on XP. Maybe there's a similar one for Windows 7 and later. Tweak...

Re: custimisable menus in XYplorer

FireFox can export menu entries to edit them? How/where can I do this? Not sure about that, per se, but there are definitely extensions available which let you reorder the menus to your heart's content, as well as remove (actually just hide) entries you don't need. No idea how it's managed, but her...
