Re: GUI Lockup lsass
0811 does fix the auto-refresh bug, and turning off auto-refresh does fix the freeze/lag. However the original problem remains... too bad for that 0.5%

Re: GUI Lockup lsass
No, it does not.
I tried to do a little digging with Process Explorer, but other than a jump in the XYplorer process and the main XYplorer thread, I didn't see anything obvious. Nothing stuck out looking at the XYplorer thread stack either. The CPU spikes up to ~10-13% for the duration of the freeze.

Re: GUI Lockup lsass
I've had this problem for as long as I've used XYplorer and Dropbox. I've posted in other threads about it (can't recall which ones). I also use Win7 x64 on two separate systems, a laptop and a desktop. Disabling overlays always fixes the issue. It occurs whenever Dropbox in syncing a file, and is s...

Re: DropBox operations very slow
That "insignificant" freeze is the problem I'm talking about. While it may not bother you, the freeze duration is dependent on a lot of things like network bandwidth, size of the file, and speed of the computer. What is a second for you, could be 10 seconds in other circumstances. When wor...

Hmm, no difference really. Worth a shot anyway.

Re: DropBox operations very slow
9.50.0115 doesn't seem to have made any difference. I'm still experiencing about 2 seconds or so where the XY interface is totally unresponsive. I'm starting to think that my antivirus might be involved as well. I use Eset's NOD32, and it scans the file system as well as network traffic. I use Dropb...

Re: Icon Overlays don't work properly in XYplorer
Please reference my comment here:

It seems the problems with overlays and Dropbox are still present in the current beta build, 9.50.0114. Turning off the overlays eliminates any XYplorer freezes.

Re: DropBox operations very slow
I have this same problem: Win7 Ultimate x64 XYplorer 9.50.0114 Dropbox 0.8.107 I've found the problem seems related to drawing the icon overlays. If I turn off overlays, there is no freezing of XYplorer any more. After searching, this problem was supposedly reported and fixed quite some time ago, pe...

Re: Beta 8.80.0030 High CPU Usage
Sorry for my late return, been away from the computer for a while. To catch up, 0036 makes a huge difference in the tree now with flat PlusMinus turned off. My speed tests: alpha 0-2 ~8750 ms alpha 3 ~20 ms However scrolling the Tools -> Customize Toolbar tree is still very laggy compared to 0028 wh...

Re: Beta 8.80.0030 High CPU Usage
Ahh yes, indeed. There is a considerable lag when scrolling the list on the left (I'm on my x64 desktop testing this now, just confirming the problem on my different systems).

Re: Beta 8.80.0030 High CPU Usage
My GDI+ version: 6.1.7600.16385
The CPU spikes also seem to go away when using the flat PlusMinus, as opposed to just disabling them. I'm also running Aero.
In case it matters, HP Laptop with a GeForce Go 7400.

Re: Beta 8.80.0030 High CPU Usage
Hmm, I have the *same* problem on my Win7 Ultimate x64 system. Turning off the tree PlusMinus also solved the CPU spikes and lag on that system.
