Re: On restart, active tabs switch back to "this pc"
Any idea anyone?
I could of course start with a fresh config, but this would be like booting a server when a single process died.
Any hint highly appreciated.
Cheers
André

On restart, active tabs switch back to "this pc"
Hi all Long time no see, which means everything running smoothly ;-) Since a few weeks, my active tabs keep switching to "This PC" on launch/relaunch of the program. I normally minimize to tray, it even happens there when I reactivate XYplorer. Not immediately though, which makes it a pain...

Regex-Rename with backreferences
Hi all I have a bunch of files with a similar filename: 19-05-01_onetwothree.pdf 19-06-02_anotherone.pdf The first 6 characters are the date these files were created (I get them from my insurance that way). Now I'd like to rename them to match my file naming conventions (YYYYMMDD_....). On a unix sy...

Re: Reload environment variables
I did, but not properly apparently.
That's sad news. I actually thought this would be an easy thing to do. My favourite keyboard launcher Keypirinha can do this, on demand of course.

Reload environment variables
Hi all We have a pretty weird setup here in our company, with quite a few windows environment variables involved. I faced a problem yesterday when I had to create windows shortcuts (.lnk) using variables I set on the command line with setx. The shortcuts were only working when I restarted XYplorer -...

Re: Need a little help on my archiving script
Awesome, thanks! Here we go: $num = input("Archive files older than","days from today (considering modification date)",14); $root = "D:\_inbox\"; foreach($file, listfolder($root)) { $date = property("#date.m",$file); $folder = $root . regexreplace($date, "...

Need a little help on my archiving script
Hi all Haven't been here for a while, still a very very happy XYplorer user :-) With your help, I created a little script that takes my files from a specific folder and moves them into dated subfolders: if (confirm("Archive?", , , 4)==1) { $root = "D:\_inbox\"; foreach($file, lis...

Hover Box on big .doc files freezes XYplorer
Hi all
19.40.0103 here, hovering over some 13M word docs. Actually I didn't even hover, I just selected it.
Download one of these if you'd like to try:
http://www.3gpp.org/ftp//Specs/archive/ ... 08-f40.zip
Nothing fancy, just some technical documentation.
Cheers

Re: XYplorer crashing ("not responding")
I'm at the client's site today, it didn't crash once. Really weird, but good :-) Running today's 19.10.0003.
