Program loading time is irky long
How to reduce the loading time of XYE. i takes me around 7 seconds to have the explorer loaded. Has it to do with the settings, categories, highlight colours etc. that I use, e.g. with the ini file size? Any tricks?

How to force windows (Vista) always use xyplorer instead of his own file explorer. I have read it somewhere how to do it but ?I can't find it anymore.

Well, it depends. In most cases I have to be at the same folder. Hence I have created many shortcuts via a category item or a shortcut from my Windows sidebar. Browsing through folders is the last I want so I made it convenience by using shortcuts. In that case I mostly arrive at the destination I w...

Pitty I neded to use Shift.
With categories, I mean the Categroeires and Items you can creae within XY.
Wish clicking on an item will open a new tab.
