Re: Screen Capture Util

By screen capture you mean a video?

If so, I recommend ScreenToGif.

There's nothing that keeps you from adding this to your title bar template!
For those searching how to, add the following to Configuration → Colors and Styles → Templates → Titlebar

Code: Select all

<get userrole>

Re: Crossing the software Rubicon

Why do you need so much for XYplorer to be compiled to 64bits?

Honestly, I think a better argument to migrate XYplorer from VB6 to a recent and supported language would be to make it multi-threaded - to finally get rid of the freezes when a tab doesn't respond.

Re: 'Cut' folder icon doesn't stay greyed out

However, now it seems that the icon-dimming effect is completely removed. Or did I see that wrong? That was done on purpose. From the changelog: v20.00.0009 - 2019-05-29 15:53 +++ Clipboard Markers: Totally revolutionized how items are marked that are currently in the clipboard. - Before, like in W...

Re: Display current checked out git branch name

Maybe.

But you could add support to other VCS (SVN, Mercurial...) as well (Git is the most common, so first to do), and it would be a nice feature for developers.

Re: Display current checked out git branch name

Basically, we use a git repository (a folder on our file system) that holds several branches. A branch represents a version of the files (and subfolders) in the repository. At a moment in time, we're always checked out to one branch (and only one). When we switch branches, it modifies the content of...

it needs to be invoked manually...
My point exactly. For this to be actually enjoyable/beneficial, I don't see myself calling this script X times a day.

Plus once your tab is renamed, it stayed renamed, even if you browse to a different folder.
