Re: Looking for icon set for tabs

Nevermind, I found the old post, pointing to iconfinder -- but I won't find what I got in 2011.

Anyone got good icons, then?

Looking for icon set for tabs

Hi there, and happy new year! I am looking for some icon set posted here several years ago, probably around the time that the feature ("Mytab|C:\icons\foo.ico") came out. That might be 2012 or 2013 :p So, the icon names looked like: 1315913355_stock_book_red.ico 1315912720_music.ico 1315913130_pictu...

A basic feature, common in many applications, just got a whole lot better -- the XYplorer way!

Re: Visual Filter with Timeout

Thank you! For some reasons I often find it hard starting scripts from scratch, but I usually manage to tweak existing ones. Here's a modified version that remember what tab to unfilter (if we change tab in the meantime): "Quick VF" //quicksearch by visualfilter $t = tab( "filter", input("Enter: ") ...

Visual Filter with Timeout

Hi all,

I often use visual filter to search files in big folders, but once I have seen if the files are there or not, I don't need the filter anymore.
So, is it possible to make a Catalog script that would prompt and activate a Visual Filter for, say, 5 seconds and automatically switch it off?

Re: Keyboard shortcut sequences (ala Emacs)

Interesting, thank you for the effort!

How would you make a key binding for "copy current file selection to folder A:/b/c" ?
The mix of VB-ish code and win32 API makes my head reel :/

Re: Keyboard shortcut sequences (ala Emacs)

I know this works in theory, but in practice the AHK hooks can break some applications that watch for the same keystrokes at a low level. I already have AHK on my machine btw, and I keep it loaded in startup scripts because it works pretty well, but it is often not totally seamless. I appreciate the...

Re: Keyboard shortcut sequences (ala Emacs)

Yeah, but this means global hooks to capture the key events. I know you can filter by application class and likes, but this messes up with some apps nonetheless.

Keyboard shortcut sequences (ala Emacs)

Hi all,

I was wondering if it was possible to define keyboard shortcut sequences, like Emacs (and other one-true-editor-wanabee) does Eg. Ctrl-x Ctrl-f.
I guess this means composite keymaps and all that--so the question is, can it be done? If no, any chance to get it sometime later?

Cheers,

Re: Custom keyboard shortcut to select named tab?

\o/

I made a User Command going to location

Code: Select all

::seltab -3
, since my fave tab is the third from the right, and bound it to some key shortcut.

Re: Custom keyboard shortcut to select named tab?

Thanks for the reply. I Ctrl-Tab a lot because it most often does what I need: cycle between the two tabs I am working with (and my fave tab is one of them). Conceptually, I could have an MRU tab list with my fave tab locked in 2nd position, if you see what I mean. Anyway, if there is no "select/foc...

Custom keyboard shortcut to select named tab?

Hi all, Is it possible to define a custom keyboard shortcut that select (ie. make active) a named tab? Basically I have a favorite tab with caption an custom icon, and pretty often I am running thru the tab MRU list (Ctrl-Tab) just to go back there. I have searched a bit, but couldn't find anything;...
