Just wanted to report back a few weeks later to confirm that the setting "Startup window state:" to Normal fixed the issue 100%. I've not had any problems since making this change.

It was set to "last state." I switched to normal. I often minimize, then later clean up windows with right-clicking on the taskbar to close rather than un-minimizing it then closing. By launching the app again after closing a minimized XYPlorer window, I can easily reproduce my issue when ...

As an update, this issue of XYplorer not launching on top of other windows continues to plague me. It'll work most of the time, and then every once in a while it just won't launch on top of other windows. Since I have 4 monitors, I have to play a frustrating version of where in the world is XYplorer...

Hi! This is still an issue for me. The unreliableness of this throws off my workflow such that I find myself using Windows Explorer because I know when I click the button, it will open, and I won't have to hunt for XYPlorer on any one of my 4 screens. Any chance this could get some attention?

I would still love for this to get fixed. Clicking to open a program and not having it show up makes me sometimes prefer Windows Explorer, and I really don't want to do that!

What I meant by "seems" is that I am not sure if it's actually minimized as it would be by clicking the minimize function or not. All I know is that when I launch it, it runs as a process, but doesn't display. I would think this as a Windows issue too, except that no other program behaves ...

I second this request. I end up using Windows Explorer to get the password prompt to unlock it.

It would be nice if XY could trigger this password prompt so there is no need to use Windows Explorer. Thanks!
