QueryUnload: Error 91
I did a fresh install of 18.50.0100 on one of my computers and when I launched it I saw the message about the trial period because I had forgotten to instead update my portable version which is on that computer. Immediately at that screen I chose to quit instead of continuing. Doing that has created...

Re: OneDrive in Windows 10 Fall Creators Update
I've tried out 18.50.0013 but it made no difference. :( So I disabled the new "Files on Demand" feature in OneDrive, which turned all the folders inside OneDrive back to normal folders. The top level OneDrive folder is still a junction though. But even now I still can't use the Address Bar...

Re: OneDrive in Windows 10 Fall Creators Update
It might have something to do with the new 'Status' column in the new OneDrive which shows whether each file is: available online only available locally currently available locally and set to be always available locally shared currently syncing But I don't see a Junction column in XYplorer. I also d...

OneDrive in Windows 10 Fall Creators Update
Just so you know... In the new version of Windows 10 which will be released to the public on 17th October, there are major changes to the included OneDrive which now supports "Files On-Demand". XYplorer sees everything in the new OneDrive as a junction. Whether it is available offline (loc...

Re: Synchronize 2 folders
Very nice work in 18.40.0110. I think any slight hit to performance is ok as long as one can feel certain that the destination is now a 100% match of the source. XYplorer can now do what most dedicated sync programs cannot do. The only cherry on the cake missing now is that the reports (after Previe...

Re: Synchronize 2 folders
It's so funny: for files and folders that are identical in every way except for uppercase/lowercase: there's software called Beyond Compare that can compare filenames but it cannot compare foldernames, while XYplorer can synchronize the foldernames but not the filenames. These 2 softwares need to ha...

Re: Synchronize 2 folders
Right. So XYplorer still cannot be used to synchronize filename case when only the case is different. This is why I was earlier suggesting an option 'Treat filename case as significant'. And right now the foldername case is synchronized even when the folders are identical. So folders and files are t...

Re: Synchronize 2 folders
I did a simple test with 18.40.0108 to see if files and folders are treated them same when it comes to making uppercase/lowercase the same in source and destination. And I found that they are not. I made a source folder containing just a single folder and a single text file. Then I made a backup so ...

Re: Synchronize 2 folders
For the syncing of names I would put some new checkbox options with names something like this: [ ] Compare filename case [ ] Compare foldername case or [ ] Treat filename case as significant [ ] Treat foldername case as significant or [ ] Treat filename case differences as differences [ ] Treat fold...
