Re: Sync Script: Syntax error for filters to exclude certain folders
Well, I just added a log file to the script, just to see the results. Somehow it works now :P. The is some kind of bug in sync, but I will not change the script, leave the logfile attribute there :D. sync "\\dc\Server\abc", "D:\OneDrive\xyz", 1, 0, 4, "c", "D:\xylo...

Re: Sync Script: Syntax error for filters to exclude certain folders
Ok I'm posting a "censored" structure example here.
So many ex folders here.
I can live with sync not deleting previously synced folders.

Re: Sync Script: Syntax error for filters to exclude certain folders
-*_EX\ works absolutely fine here. All folders called "_EX" are excluded from sync regardless where in the hierarchy they are Interesting because I even tried it to take it to the beginning of the filter script. I'm deleting the ex folder in the target. The script still copies the folder ...

Re: Sync Script: Syntax error for filters to exclude certain folders
Read the help file again. Where does the backslash needs to be for folders? Not where you've placed it... I tried these alternatives non of them worked. Sorry the help file was not very clear about this, now I'm undestand the backlash has to be at the end but non of these worked: 7:="-*.bak|-*...

Re: Sync Script: Syntax error for filters to exclude certain folders
I'll give you a hint: Are all your parameters in the correct position? Ah.. So I learned to add "7:=". Thanks alot!!! But I was expecting it to delete the previously synced _EX folders. (I'm selecting it via the dialog box when the script is ran) Is my syntax searching for any _EX folder ...

Sync Script: Syntax error for filters to exclude certain folders
Hello, I'm using sync scripts to backup my working folders to certain locations on my PC. I generally have an "_EX" folder in everywhere to keep the older versions archived. I have a working sync script here, I'm tring to add a fiter to exclude the "_EX" folders to sae time and s...

Re: Location Currently Not Available
"Fast Network Enumeration" seems to solve the issue.... EDIT: But this time XY performance comes to a crawl. Since I cannot bear with plain win10 explorer, I tried Total Commander and Freecommander, and sorry to say that they don't have such issue on the same machine. Is XY using different...

Re: Location Currently Not Available
Hello, Today I upgraded to the latest version and the problem reappeared. Must be something with updating. I tried to record it as a gif here, you see when I start XY, folder content is there, then I click the upper folder, everything disappears, also I click back to the original folder, nothing: ht...

Re: Location Currently Not Available
Hello, I'm a long time user of XYplorer without any issues. Today I had to reinstall windows and forgot to backup my XY folder. That is a headache because I had catalogs and custom scripts set up. Anyway, I installed the latest version (20.80.0400), and now I'm experiencing this issue. When I open X...

Color Filter - Recently modified items
Hello, We all know this color filter by age feature is great. Now when a file is modified, the file and the folders up to 2 levels up are colored. I wish if we could make it so more of the parent folders are colored. I assume this is not about XYplorer, it is a windows thing. When I modify a file, i...

Re: Send to Outlook
Try it with "Go to Location" instead of "Open Item" and use this script in the "Location:" line: ::$s = quote(<get SelectedItemsPathNames '" "'>); run """cscript"" ""<path to the .vbs file>\Send to Outlook.vbs"" $s...

Re: Send to Outlook
Hi, Thanks for the script. I know it is an old thread, sorry about that. This would help me very much in daily work. But I could not get it to work now. I created a new "open with" item in catalog, pointing to your vbs script. It opens outlook and creates the mail template, but it does not...
