Perhaps it is unrelated to XYplorer.

So far It has been just strange, not really a major problem.

In the next month or so I will be re-installing Win 7 (on the way to 10) so maybe during that process it will resolve.

My XYplorer has begun doing this recently. Not sure when first noticed but I'd guess within the last 3 weeks. Five (approx.) minutes of inaction and focused tab goes to root/Computer.
