Thank you for the response to this thread. I run XY as admin, but I was having the issue of drag and drop not working. After running my browser as admin it works now. Thank you I had no idea this was the fix for that.

That's kind of why I was hoping that I was missing some feature somewhere since I likely have no idea of 98% of what XYplorer has.

Being able to hide the file extension on shortcut files. So that they don't say .lnk

I'm just curious as to why a feature the default windows file explorer has had for years is not available on xy.

Is there a way to hide specific extensions though? For example hiding the .lnk from shortcuts.

I did this, but it doesn't seem to truly make it the default. If I press Win+E it still opens up the default windows explorer instead of XYplorer.
