Re: XYplorer Automatic Updater
Hmm. It's working for me now. Weird. Sorry for the false alarm, jacky.

Re: XYplorer Automatic Updater
The updater (v0.01.0021) does not install (but does download) versions newer than XYplorer v8.10.0005. I love this script. Its brokenness gives me sorrow!

Ah, I understand. Thanks!admin wrote:It would be very unconventional to have a mere single Click in List trigger a browse action.

Re: Dual Pane - open folder in inactive pane (from active pane)
But why would that preclude an action for Alt+Click? I don't think it would be too confusing to have Alt+Click perform an action as well as Alt+DblClick. No?admin wrote:I did not do this because Alt+DblClick is already used in the list: Show Properties! (= Windows standard)

Re: Dual Pane - open folder in inactive pane (from active pane)
Hmm, I see that Alt-MiddleButtonClick opens the folder in a new tab on the inactive pane.
But I still like extending the "Alt+Click in tree" metaphor to the active pane.

Dual Pane - open folder in inactive pane (from active pane)
From the docs: To browse a folder in the inactive pane use Alt+Click in the Tree
How about the same functionality when Alt+Clicking a folder in the active pane?
Thanks!

Re: Like a new feature? Say thanks here
You're a bit behind! It's up to v401 now, with v400 making some more major chgs in DP! I'm a moron: I do have 401. I use jacky's updater script and I think it puts the version you just updated from in the title bar too. I must have read that by accident. (I've updated my previous post - stubbornly ...

Re: Option for Path Relative to Current Location
... OTOH , I'm not totally convinced that the current way is the best way. Frankly, if I entered a relative path (which I never do; just not the way I work) into the address bar I would expect it to be relative to the current path. I originally had exactly this statement in my first post but took i...

Option for Path Relative to Current Location
I know that the way relative paths in XYplorer work is to be relative to the XYplorer executable. Would is be possible/reasonable to optionally prepend the relative path with a sequence to indicate the "relativeness" should be to the current path? For example, if I use the "Go to"...

XYplorer so rocks
I've been away from Windows (and thus XYplorer) for the last 6 months. I just came back last week to give Windows 7 a go and, of course, I grabbed the latest XYplorer as soon as the OS install was complete. Man, am I happy! The new features of Mini Tree, Quick search and Spot search are so awesome. ...
