Re: Error: This action cannot be completed because the other application is busy
I am having this problem regularly. I'm using Windows 10 64 bit. I have found that if I open Task Manger and then go to XYExplorer and then right click and "End Task", XYExplorer closes. I then re-open and the problem has gone. If this a problem between Windows and Office then why does thi...

Re: Auto updating sort
Yes, double checked, auto-refresh is ticked on View menu.
If I go out of the folder and then back in it has resorted, but not if I just wait on it.

Re: Auto updating sort
Okay I've put the tick in the "Resort list immediately after rename" command line, but it doen't always do it and you have to do a manual resort (I often put a two digit number in front of a file to order them ready to incorporate them in a presentation).

Thanks again.

Auto updating sort
Okay you guys were so brilliant with my last question. I am sorting my page by name, but if I rename a file it stays in the same place in the list. Is there anyway to switch on an auto update sort so that after renaming a program it automaticly reshuffles the file. I have the green AutoRefresh icon ...

File Extensions
Hi! I've just discovered XY and really like it. I was wondering if there is any way of hiding file extensions - .jpg .dotx and the like. The reason for this is it is too easy when changing a name to delete the extension rendering the file unopenable - I know I've done it too many times. No prob if y...
