How to permanently lock a particular tab

Hello to everybody, I would like to lock a particular folder tab in a specific location and that this tab never disappears or changes, but that any clicked folder within this folder appears in a new Tab. I use permanently this specific folder so that it's inconvenient for me every time to re-select ...

Re: Will not set as default file manager

I have found out cause of this problem. It's Kerish Doctor, actually a very good application for computer optimization. I guess the app resets the registry key to the standard, i.e. to Windows Explorer, at ever rebooting. Anyway it is definitively this application the cause of the problem; I have te...

Re: Will not set as default file manager

Yes, it happens only for "only for this user". I have set XYplorer as default for all users too, but I am actually the only user on my computer. I will set off the running apps on restart one by one to see if one of them causes this. It will take some time. Will come back asap. Thank you s...

Re: Will not set as default file manager

sorry, I did not understand that it was a question, but a statement.

In all four keys the value is:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\XYplorer\XYplorer.exe" "%1"
The quotes are included in the key values.

Re: Will not set as default file manager

I have also reinstalled XYplorer and then checked the keys in the registry: everything looks ok, but the hook to set XYplorer as default in the Configuration window disappears every time I restart; XYplorer is then replaced from the Windows explorer.
I have tried many times... can you please help?

Re: Will not set as default file manager

Hello,
in my case xyplorer doesn't set as default file manager. Every time I restart, the hook in the option "set xyplorer as default manager" is away and windows explorer is again the default file manager.
Can you please help?

Date in created and modified doesn't appear

Dear all,

Strangely the date in "created" and "modified" columns appears in some folders only, but in some others not.
Someone can please help?

Re: portrait thumbnails uncorrectly shown

Please apologise the late answer, but I didn't realise that there was an immediate reaction until now. The phenomenon is present only in the portrait thumbnails. Please see screen shot. Ashampoo_Snap_2016.01.03_06h16m39s.jpg There is also another issue: when the icons are modified from other program...

portrait thumbnails uncorrectly shown

Since last version portrait thumbnails are shown as a mix of the correct picture, upside, and another picture from same folder on the bottom.
The pictures self are OK, they can be correctly shown with any other program, including Windows Explorer.
