Re: LibreOffice Preview?
Unfortunately I can't previews in Internet Explorer either. I'm wondering if LibreOffice previews work for anyone, or if I'm the only one with the problem. By any chance, have you tried this? I've installed the Active-X plugin as part of the LibreOffice installation, but IE does not list it as a plu...

LibreOffice Preview?
Does anyone know how to get LibreOffice preview to work? When I try to preview a document in XYplorer, the preview pane says "ActiveX component can't create object" When I installed LibreOffice, I believe I installed the plugin, but I'm not sure that it works. I assume that this is a Libre...

filenames with blanks in User Button script
I am trying to set up a User Button so that it will run a command (let's call it MyEditor.exe for this discussion) with the currently selected filename as an argument. I have set the on click action to be: run "c:\path\to\MyEditor.exe <curitem>" but if there are blanks in the file name, th...

Re: tabs don't extend over the directory tree
Nevermind, I just copied the ini file over from my desktop machine and that fixes it. Thanks for the clue!

Re: tabs don't extend over the directory tree
I'm running the latest version, but perhaps I've got a configuration setting left over from the old days. That would explain why I couldn't find the setting anywhere! Anyone know what that setting might be called? (Or how to clear just this one setting without clearing everything else?) Thanks... --...

tabs don't extend over the directory tree
On my desktop computer, the bar containing the tabs extends across the entire width of my window. However, on my laptop, the tabs do not extend over the directory tree. I've searched through the various configuration settings but have been unable to find the right one to use the same layout as on my...

DropBox operations very slow
I have noticed that using xyplorer to add and remove files from a DropBox folder is very slow (running v9.50) Details: using an xyplorer backup folder for testing purposes (30 files, 5MB). If I use xyplorer to copy the folder to DropBox, it takes more than 2 minutes; Windows explorer takes approx 1 ...

Re: Save Copy of Configuration As problem
I thought so. Use Backup All Settings... in the same menu. It does what you want and includes all necessary files, not just the INI files. I tried using Backup All Settings. It seems to copy everything, including the executable and helpfiles, as well as data files that I don't want (such as the cat...

Re: Save Copy of Configuration As problem
I want to place the backup the file in a place accessible from elsewhere, for example a USB drive or a DropBox folder.admin wrote:What do you try to achieve by copying the configuration to another path?

Re: Save Copy of Configuration As problem
This has never been different. Also copies of the pane data subfolders are copied into the Panes subfolder in the current app data path. It's clumsily mentioned in the titlebar of the dialog and should be made clearer in the Help. If so, then xyplorer should not use the Save As dialog. What's the p...

Save Copy of Configuration As problem
Running xyplorer 9.50, when I do a Save Copy of Configuration As, xyplorer always places the ini in the xyplorer directory, even though I explicitly navigate to another directory in the Save As dialog.

Looking for "Go to Address Bar" shortcut
Is there a keyboard shortcut for going (moving the focus) to the address bar?
I've gotten used to this in Firefox (Ctrl-L) and I would really like to do the same thing in xyplorer.
