Boolean quick search and /t switch
I'm not sure if i missed something but a boolean search including the /t switch does not work as before anymore. Example (fresh XY): Create a file "New.txt" and assign the tag "cats". Now search for New* /t works as expected. New* and tags:cats works as expected. New* and tags:ca...

"Quick Search" bar not translated on the fly
Hi,
small bug when you switch language files: The whole GUI is translated on the fly except for the terms "Quick Search" and "Visual Filter" in the respective bar. The term is updated only after the bar is refreshed.

Re: Knowledgebase software?
I use Rightnotes Pro version for exactly this reason (imported PDFs are fully indexed and searchable). But not only because of that. I already used the free version for years before i decided to upgrade to Pro. It's pretty versatile and customizable. It's one of the programs that have a fixed positi...

Re: Show a clock somewhere.
I wouldn't expect a clock in a file manager. Someone even may call it bloat... What about the clock in your taskbar? Is your taskbar hidden?

Aliases are also in my toplist of features. I even wrote a script to emulate this feature back in 2008 before aliases were officially added to XY by Don...

Re: Extracting a Zip file to a folder via CTB
Maybe i'm missing something, but the original question was: Can a script be written that can be placed into a CTB that will take the selected Zip, create a folder with the same name and then put the extracted files in there? That's a simple script command: zip_extract(); Put a new user button onto t...

Just in case you missed that (kind of hidden) feature: Right clicking onto the tab header already toggles the corresponding checkbox.

& not correctly escaped in hotlist
Just a minor bug in the hotlist: If a folder contains the & character, it is not correctly escaped in the hotlist so that the next character is shown as accelerator.
Example: The folder "C:\Test&More" is shown as "C:\TestMore" in the hotlist (history is ok, though)

It happens to me on Win7/32 too. (XY crashs with XYcopy available and works with XYcopy renamed/moved).admin wrote:Well, does anybody see a pattern? It seems to be only Win7/64, right?

Re: Replace Umlauts
Now if anybody could provide such a list for Greek, or Turkish, or whatever other script, it would be a snap for me to add it. There is a character conversion table for financial transactions (SEPA) provided by the European Payments Council which includes greek: http://www.europeanpaymentscouncil.e...

List position after "Dbl-click on empty space goes up"
I'm pretty sure this worked different before but maybe someone can confirm: Fresh installation of latest beta. Navigate to a folder with lots of subfolders (list has to be longer than the screen height). Navigate into a subfolder that is listed somewhere on the top or in the middle of the screen. Do...
