XYplorer Beta Club

Well, it's 5 years later and I cannot view my cell files or my motorcycle GPS files. I have to view them with Windows Explorer which views them fine. What will XYplorer be able to view these files?

I can't believe this has gone unfixed. All other file manages including Windows Explorer have the ability to view the files inside a Gopro, or similar. ZYplorer used to be able to do this and no longer has that ability. Why is this not fixed yet?

False alarm. Sorry for the confusion.
PeaZip was the problem. The messages and behavior was all them.
I just rebuilt my computer and reinstalled everything. I selected PeaZip based on reviews. I never used it before.
I went back to IZArc and everything works like it should.

I am using PeaZip. When I open a zip archive with PeaZip amd drag it to XYplorer, I get a popup asking me to Browse for a folder, select a directory. It defaults to Desktop. If I just say OK, the file goes to my Desktop, not to the file I selected with XYplorer.
It is not creating a zip archive.

To be clear, I am dragging from a ZIP archive onto XYplorer. On ver 18.10 it was dropping right through XYplorer onto my desktop. Now I get a little popup menu with a tree. I have 18.20 and drag and drop still acts odd.
Rather than just going to the directory I dropped it into, now a get a new menu asking me to tell it where to drop the files.
They should go where I drop them.

I think the disappearing files went to your desktop. Mine is doing this also. If I drag a file from an open zip file and drag it to a directory in XYplorer, it does through XYplorer and onto my desktop.

Currently if I open a zip file, then open XYplorer, then drag the files from the zip program to a folder in XYplorer, they drop through XYplorer and go to my desktop. What setting do I need to change to stop that?

Right now, XYplorer doesn't recognize a camera's storage as a drive or other digital media. Because of this, I have to use Windows 10 Explorer to view them. With so many of us using cameras or similar, this is really needed.

OK, I solved my problem. As it turns out, I had a very long file name in my download folder which widened the first column to the point, it pushed my other columns closed (off the screen). I deleted that file and my columns are back. Is there a way to turn off automatic columns widths so they are fi...
