Yes, Full Row Select does exactly what I want...really helps the workflow. Thank you very much. sometimes there are certain config options that new users (like me) don't play with because they don't click mentally as to what they do and thus one misses out on those helpful features... That's why it ...

Highlight Whole Row Please, During Selection

Hello, I'd love it if when I select a file that the whole hoizontal row would highlight in blue, rather than just the filename highlighting in blue. Because so often I click on a filename that came back in a search, and I want to just quickly scroll over to the right to see it's path, but when I scr...

Excluded folders items showing up in items found update_Why?

Little technical problem. Example situation: I search drive C for all wav files. I exclude folder C:\New Folder. 1000 wav files show up. I copy 500 of the wav files to C:\New folder Still C:\New Folder is excluded, but here's the problem: The little automatically updating numbers near the bottom of ...

Created Modified Accessed Definitions

Hello, Would you please explain exactly what created modified and accessed means? I know this must be very simple, but somehow I don't quite get what they mean exactly. I just copied a bunch of files from CD to my hard drive and they all say created 1-23-06...of course the files were not created 1-2...

That's true, but wouldn't it be nice to be able to say open one template, grab some of it's excluded folders, open another template, grab some of it's exclude folders also, then copy all these into the exclude folders area of another template I'm building. Would be nice to be able to copy/cut/paste ...

Oh very nice, yes jacky that works very well.

Thank you very much for sharing this technique, which shows all wav on Drive C except for the wav in Windows folder, but does also show the wav in one subfolder of Windows, ie the Desktop folder.

Wow, you are truly amazing. Thank you very much. Now if I could just right click on the paths I selected in the exclude folders area and see option to copy, then be able to start another find template, go into the exclude folders area and right click and select paste, how nice this would be. Because...

That's why I think it's essential in this type of operation to only right click in the tree structure, not left click. Right click, then select copy path. Another little trick I use, in order to have TV4 search only in certain folders, is to put into a special created folder only shortcuts to the fo...

Okay, thank you.

By the way, Shift-select to select a whole batch theere at a time would be great too...but I'm sure that's what you are intending also.

Thank you very much for your wonderful help.

Oh very nice, thank you. Do you have any tricks for getting say 5 folders paths into the location field quickly? What do you do, one by one find the desired folders in the tree structure, then right click and copy paths one by one, then paste one by one into location field after putting in a pipe to...

How To Remove Many Excluded Folders At Once?

Hello, Sorry if this is too many questions in a row. I'm wondering though, Often I intentionally open TV4 to use a find template with tons of exclude folders in the exclude folders add/remove area. If I have, for example, 35 paths in the exclude folders add/remove area, I may want to keep say 15 of ...

Search In Only 3 Folders On My Hard Drive?

Hello, How can I have TV4 search in only 3 chosen folders scattered about on my hard drive? These three folders are in various places on my hard drive. For example, I want to create a find template that will tell TV4 to search for all wav files in only these three folders: C:\Windows\Desktop\Wav1 C:...
