Re: Search Bar on the Toolbar
It's difficult to make meaningful recommendations without knowing your full process and willingness to spend time configuring XYplorer. (There's always that battle between time spent optimizing a task vs just doing the task. ;) ) One simple suggestion would be to use the clipboard variable by search...

Re: v24.20.0518 - Go | Aliases... dlg too small
Don't be too surprised - I'm still an XY user and continue to follow the release notes, even if I'm not frequenting the forums.
And I always know where to go if I discover something unexpected.
Confirmed it is fixed prior to v24.20.0522.

Re: Preview Window offsets for PDFs
That seems to work here - thanks highend! But I'm a very confused why that works when I tried with Use 64-bit preview handlers for preview both enabled and disabled and fallback disabled to simplify the logic. :veryconfused: EDIT: Heck why does the get script I posted display the same exact th...

Re: Preview Window offsets for PDFs
regarding what facility xy is itself using to do the previewing, that I don't know. Running this script will display information about what handler ("facility") XY is currently using to preview: ::text get('PreviewHandler'); For instance, here's what I get: GUID: {84F66100-FF7C-4fb4-B0C0-...

Re: Preview Window offsets for PDFs
Thanks, iamseoul - I'm familiar with that setting, but as I mentioned in my post there still seems to be issues with the 32-bit handler in the Info Panel getting the wrong sizing.
It's much better than the issues with the 64-bit handler but still an issue.

Re: iSCSI transfer is not handled gracefully, crashes network
Strange... with CC disabled it really should be the same as WE.
I'm afraid I'm out of ideas, Don will have to take a look at this when he has the time.
Sorry!

Re: More fields in Folder Contents Preview
The first few times I read this I thought you wanted this additional information in the preview's status area or as tooltips/HB. However, reading back I think what you may be after is a way to have the folder contents preview use a details or details-lite view instead of just a list of item names. D...

Re: Single click to see full file name in Large Icons view?
it just seems like a waste to not have any single left click functionality in both Small & Large Icons views when a file is selected... You keep saying this but there is single left click functionality in those views - it selects the file. If you truly mean functionality when single left clicki...

Re: iSCSI transfer is not handled gracefully, crashes network
It might help the developer if you share how you have custom copy configured. A screenshot of your Configuration | File Operations | File Operations | Custom Copy Operations settings and the Custom Copy | Configure... dialog will work. I would guess that it does not occur when you have Custom Copy d...

Re: Preview Window offsets for PDFs
FWIW, I'm using PDF X-Change and have noticed similar strangeness in the viewing area for previews - especially between the preview pane and the Info Panel preview tab. It seems to occur more frequently with Use 64-bit preview handlers for preview enabled, but even with the 32-bit handler the Info P...

Re: Single click to see full file name in Large Icons view?
I can vaguely recall what you're describing in WE but here on Win 10 it seems to behave exactly like XY - which is to say not showing the full name unless you slow second click to rename the item. One useful difference in XY, is that unless you're using a custom status bar template the third section...

Re: CustomCopyBlacklist.dat Comments
Rather than trailing comments, I was thinking more of the INI style using ; or # like so: %ALLUSERSPROFILE% ; Native Program Files %ProgramFiles% # 32-bit redirection for 64-bit Windows only %ProgramFiles(x86)% %WinDir% Figured that would be easier to parse but I'm fine with trailing comments! Thank...
