Re: ALT GR - Return

hm, thanks for the answer jacky.. Again to the initial problem.. Selecting more than one file, should the AltGr-Return return the properties-window for both files together, as in WindowsExplorer? Or, in other words, is this a bug or an unsupported detail? I'm not sure how to interpret this atm.. Che...

Re: ALT GR - Return

You can probably get that window by right-clicking on one of the selected items and choosing Properties, but XY's trigger works on selected item it seems. Additionally, if you wanna change attributes on many items at one, why not simply do it directly from within XY, e.g. tab Properties of the Info...

ALT GR - Return

Hi, A bit late, but happy New Year  Found no topic related to the following issue: In Windows Explorer, if I select some folders or files (more than one), pressing "ALT GR - Return" results in opening the properties of selected items. And well, it shows the combined filesize, attribu...

Re: Dual Pane Wishes

Use 'Lock Tree' and that would not happen. Just learnt that one today ;) No, I meant the other way round. Also if tree is unlocked, the following: I drag file from pane 2 to pane 1. - tree does not update the position (which is what I would want) But: I drag file from pane 2 to any Tab (the tab hea...

Re: Dual Pane Wishes

A glance on my roadmap should suffice for a reasonable man to forget about schnickschnack like dual tree. There's real good stuff waiting to be done... Don, zer0, please dont get me wrong. I strongly believe this idea is by no means schnickschnack . For the new questions asked, I think I have answe...

Re: Dual Pane Wishes

I'm sure to remember: Don said he would consider "dual-tree" later in a next level of dual pane. Or am I wrong? I would love this, too! And a tree-layout (i.e. which folders are expanded) remembered for each tab - but this isn't only dual pane... Hey Donald, is that correct what Peter say...

Re: Find Files in current tab

hmm, let me explain what I mean with the Address bar: -When I select a tab (tab1), it's path will be displayed in the Address Bar. -If I search (find files) on that tab(tab1), the search results get displayed in the list. The Address Bar Path stays the same (as it is still the same folder where the ...

Find Files in current tab

Hi, When I Search for files , and have the settings set to "current tab": If I search, change tab, and then switch back to the "search" tab, the path display (above the tab) gets not updated (to the folder I have searched in) and still displays the last visited tab's path.. Even ...

Re: How about a file viewer and editor?

- The Viewer (F3) and Editor (F4) open selected files from the list, using different executables. - Sth very special to both of them is some kinda program linkage. E.G I use TC's search feature (search in files/folder). It then shows it's search result in a file list popup. I now select the file I ...

Re: How about a file viewer and editor?

Hey, let me add my opinion. I was always no big friend of Norton/Total Commander, as I liked the "visual & mouse browsing" a lot. Since working more and more with complex file management/viewing/editing operations, and accessing structures on many many remote network computers which ju...

Re: move to opposite pane

Did you know that there's Undo . sure. never played with this yet, but sounds nice. Anyhow what does undo help me if I don't realize I have accidentally dragged some file away? Or if I realize it one week later? well btw it's not thaaat probable that I move sth. to another pane now, as my ke...
