Re: Auto-Refresh Still Does Not Work Properly
Since a couple of weeks, auto refresh does not work all the time. Was something changed? I never had this problem for years. Yes, F5 works, but that's not comfortable at all.

Re: What can Virtual Folders do?
I use Virtual Folders (actually only one so far), for the following thing: I have several scripts that are located in various folders, for good reasons. And I use a virtual folder to access them all from the same "folder". This is quite useful. I know I will use this feature for other simi...

Given the current tab's folder path, I would like to open the Windows console (cmd.exe), which is directly set to the path of the XY folder path. Is there a way to do so?

XY Freezes while searching and has to be hard-quitted
Symptom: I search for a file, specifying a partial name such as "*start*.png", some file(s) are found, then the application hangs. I have to hard-quit the application. There is a random nature to this problem because after restarting, the exact search might not happen. I can reproduce the ...

Paste Picture in Clipboard as a new file
Let's say I have a picture in the Windows Clipboard. I wish to save it as a file somewhere. My proposal:
The standard Paste command would create a file with this picture in the current directory. A random name would be generated (and maybe the name editor could be activated).

Re: Icon Overlays not visible since recent Windows update [SOLVED]
After experimenting here and there, I finally could solve the problem executing the instructions found there: "Solving setup errors by using the SubInACL tool to repair file and registry permissions" https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/astebner/2006/09/04/solving-setup-errors-by-using-the-sub...

Not a XYPlorer problem I am sure. Except that if XYPlorer was 64 bit, this would not happen

Icon Overlays not visible since recent Windows update
Since a recent Windows update (I can't say which one, this is a few weeks old, I have now Windows 10, version 1709, build 16299.248) icon overlays are not visible anymore. I have done some researches, and my registry settings are ok (I have not more than 10 icon overlay registered, while 15 are allo...

Re: enum servers on networks when dragging
I don't show the tree. But I display a few favourite, some being networks links, and yes I might drag quickly over them to pass to the other part of my screen. And indeed, that seems to be the problem. How can this be avoided?
