Re: Network Operations Painfully Slow

One thing that would help me would be not to scan all the network when i enter a precise url.

Re: My whole system is lagging

I found that autorefresh might result in high cpu load under some circumstances. I suspect that TortoiseSVN was involved in my case. TortoiseSVN is a shell extension that shows the status of files and folders as icon overlay. Therefore it scans the folder hierarchy. This might interact with or count...

Re: x64 shell context menus

I guess that's done in a submenu that's fed by some 64-bit helper EXE that's delivered together with the main tc.exe?
Yes, the 64 bit extentions are located in a x64 submenu.

Re: x64 shell context menus

On the other hands side: Total Commander is a 32 bit application as XY is, but under W7/64 it shows the 32 bit shell extensions in the context menu as well as the 64 bit shell extensions.

Re: Color Code by dateC(M)

Confirmed that the second date is now inclusive. But the exclusion operator has no effect on the second date, e.g. "dateM:20.05.2011-<21.05.2011" colors files from 22.05.2011, too.
Exclusion on the first date works, though.

Re: Color Code by dateC(M)

The help file is ambiguous in this. In the syntax section it says the second date would be inclusive, while in the example section is says it would be exclusive. Exclusive makes not much sense to me, because with the "-<" operator it is possible to make the second date exclusive, but it do...

Can't remove Visual Filters

XYVersion: 9.90.0936
Windows: 7/64 German

When i open the dialog List Management/Visual Filters only the buttons "New", "Edit" and "Sort" are active. It is not possible to remove a VF or clear the list. Creation and Editing is possible though.

Re: File placed in Temp folder is no longer deleted

i took a look into my temp dir and found those files, too (Win7/64). The oldest file with this naming scheme is from 2010-01-24. Unchecking the autocomplete for address bar and find files doesn't stop creation of those files.
