Extra List details available in explorer
Would it be possible to add extra columns to the list view? Some applications extend explorer and add in some extra columns. For example, I have TortoiseSVN installed and in explorer if i right click the column headers I can add in details like "SVN URL" and "SVN Status" which wi...

One of the options would be nice. Of course i could create bat files that switch the env environments and stick them all over the place, which I have done in the past, however this would disrupt / negate the right click and command prompt from here within XY and also be very annoying to maintain whe...

Environmental variables and command prompt
I don't know if this is a bug or on purpose. I often need to work with environmental variables, changing them and then doing a build. I refer variables to other variables: ie. JAVA_HOME=%JAVA_HOME15% JAVA_HOME14=c:\java\1.4.2_10 JAVA_HOME15=c:\java\1.5.0_06 PATH=%JAVA_HOME%\bin;etc. Due to how these...

Re: More support for the FTP functions
I'd love to see this. Very useful in directory opus!admin wrote:Josh, I would not bet on it...jsglazer wrote:FTP/SFTP is the feature I would most like to see in your next release.
I work with a lot of hpux boxes, SFTP would be even better!

I have to agree with j_c, Multiple tabs does not match up to dual panes. Especially for comparisons tasks. I'm in exactly the same circumstance; i have to abandon XYplorer for certain tasks. Multiple tabs does not accomplish the same as a dual pane view; it merely means you can operate in multiple l...

So navigation keys not doing actual navigation is more intuitive? That seems odd, especially now when you hit down once the key is now redundant and has no functionality. :? On top of that, you also have two keys doing exactly the same thing in the current setup, HOME and up do the same thing and th...

here's another one: ctrl+down = current down functionality down = next file, with filename highlighted (barring extension) ctrl+up = current up functionality up = previous file, with filename highlighted (barring extension) It makes much more sense that way since left, right, up and down are all nav...

What I believe spamalam means is that once you have edited the name of a file, pressing the down arrow accepts your changes and moves on to the next file in the list, automatically going into edit mode again. Effectively the same as hitting ENTER to accept changes, pressing the down arrow, and hitt...

Pressing down on name edit moves to next item
I am very used to this feature in Directory Opus and would love to see it in directory opus. Essentially, I press F2 to edit, this selects the filename before the extension which is great. What i would love the down arrow key to do is that context now jumps to the item below the current edit, with t...
