Floating Preview is working very well for PDFs, but very infrequently with Office files.

I turned off XY's Info Panel, and I haven't had a single crash in 5 days. Still running 16.10 on Windows 10. XY is playing very well with Microsoft Office 2013, PDF-Xchange Editor, everything.

Not a strong correlation to Preview of PDF files. I tried multiple operations on PDFs with Preview selected (select, move, delete, copy), but only had one crash.

I've noticed a big uptick in XY crashing, since I installed 16.10. I've been watching to see if there is a pattern to it, but I've not seen one (happens while opening files, moving files, navigating). Currently, about 20% of my actions in XY lead to a crash.
