Re: XYPlorer and Kaspersky
Just to chime in, I also had xyplorer.exe deleted right in the middle of my workday. I'll submit for inspection.

Re: XYplorer is hanging
Not sure. I would like to help provide some log or details so you can better pinpoint the root issue. What would help you identify the core latecy? Is there a debug level setting I can enable and then proceed with reproducing the latency and provide that back? I'm fine right now on the older version...

Re: XYplorer is hanging
Significant difference in performance. I'm going to revert back to the older version for now until the cause is identified. I went back to 16.80 and my browsing speed is back to no lag. The current version is much much slower for me at this time. Any custom trigger columns I've had were removed in m...

Re: XYplorer is hanging
@Admin, thanks! I did uncheck this. I've got all the options regarding file size now unchecked, but I'm still getting terrible latency due to folder sizes loading. Please note that a few months ago I was having no latency issues, no real lag, just great performance. However, right now the latency is...

Re: XYplorer is hanging
One thing (not the sole cause), that I noticed was I did: Uncheck Always show folder sizes Check Cache folder sizes Show Item count with folder sizes show folder size on properties tab It seems to be trying do folder size check on network folders still, so maybe the logic needs adjusting on those ch...

Re: XYplorer is hanging
I'm also having continual hangs, and have been trying various tweaks to no avail. I've done the normal steps of caching, caching network folders instead of reconnecting, generic icons, etc. I still get a lot of lag. How could I debug/profile what step is continually causing this? it's gone from bein...

Re: sc Obfuscate
This is pretty cool! I can see the use as well for some screenshots on projects where I want to show some files, but maybe just extensions etc. Any plans on extended with regex list match? If I could use regex list match then I could possibly say obfuscate everything except the date in a name, and t...

Re: YAUM - Yet Another Update Manager
I'm getting an error message on the latest version indicating:
with the following status on the dialogue.
Not sure why this would occur. Any tips? I redownloaded and setup YAUM yet still get this error message.

Dockable console pane - or floating
Would love to see this feature of ConEmu supported. Just found out I could have my console window embedded in explorer as a bottom pane. Would be awesome to allow embedded ConEmu in XYPlorer.

Lightroom user feedback, comparing and culling images
So far I think I might actually be able to use Xyplorer as a fantastic solution to quickly review images on my sdcard before importing to lightroom. This can provide a rapid time to get to developing. Lightroom (even with SSD) takes a while to build previews, so instead of importing with minimal pre...

Re: YAUM - Yet Another Update Manager
This is the first auto-update manager that worked for me. thank you so much! Suggestion to send close command to existing XYplorer if open, as the first time I missed the point that need to close xyplorer for it to run and just read restart as admin, which made me think it would close and restart wi...

Direct Folders
Direct folders isn't recognizing the XYPlorer pane as valid for a file explorer. I know this is XYPlorer's fault probably, but thought I'd ask if anyone else experienced this problem? Listary worked fine with XYplorer, but direct folders isn't registering middle click. I validated middle click in co...

Re: Knowledge management
Online wise I've resorted to trello as it really is a quick way to keep consolidated notes. It allows export of the data and has an accessible API, so I imagine some genius could come up with a desktop sync and text indexing search this way.... but I still enjoy the simplicity of trello (even if the...

Re: AutoHotkey Scripts
Am I missing something? The global hotkey for minimize and restore of XYPlorer would be easy with AHK. This doesn't need to be in the app itself, even though it would be a nice to have. I'm more concerned with a true visual studio 2013 dark theme... gotta have priorities :-) Does anyone need an AHK ...
