You know, I simply don't remember whether the application closed on acknowledging the prompt, or whether it stayed running and I deliberately closed it. The attention grabber was on restart when everything had reset to default.
Sorry.
(My memory is excellent. It is just very, very short )

Restart after "out of string space" error trashes latest state
I tried rolling back from a large delete (400+ files), and got an error "out of string space". Acknowledged the prompt, then closed and restarted xyplorer. On restart, xyplorer reverted to what looks like a fresh install - screen position lost, all tabs lost, various config options lost et...

The beta indeed fixed the issue, thank-you.

Icon size change at 23.50.0100, and right-mouse up behaviour change
Hi, At the version 23.50.0100, I see that the folder and other non-image thumbnail size (mine is set to 64x64) is distinctly smaller at the release - with my window settings, I normally see 7 per row in the list, now it is 8. By non-image I mean for example text files (notepad icon), log files (gene...

Re: Occasional crash using 'right mouse up on folder'
So the use of 'Hide Shell Extensions' for several hours gave no crashes. However, the comment did give me some more search keys on the forum. which in turn led me to 'Shell Integration' -> 'Use 64-bit preview' and 'Fall back to preview handers of other bitness', both of which I have checked. I have ...

Re: Occasional crash using 'right mouse up on folder'
As a precaution, I've also tried adding XYplorer.exe to the exclusions in my Kaspersky AV. No change, unfortunately. In fact, I managed to crash xy when attempting the 'mouse up' followed by 'click on displayed file' as the first operation after starting the app. So unlikely to be a heap or stack ov...

Re: Occasional crash using 'right mouse up on folder'
Do you perhaps have a method to switch on some diagnostic tracing? If this would help, I would not mind a minor performance hit such tracing could cause

Re: Occasional crash using 'right mouse up on folder'
Yes, agreed. I cannot reproduce this to order. I've just tried 20 or so folders, with no problem at all. But earlier today it happened twice, with a gap of several hours and multiple operations (moves, renames, deletes, etc) between them. And, as I said, after restart, retrying the offending folder ...

Occasional crash using 'right mouse up on folder'
A crash occurs intermittently when using 'right mouse up on folder' in the list pane followed by a click on one of the displayed files (usually a jpg) to open it in the default program. On restarting XYplorer, the same actions on the same folder and file work perfectly. I have not experienced this c...

Re: Mouse Down Blow Up fix still uses primary screen
Hi all. I have two screens, and have started to notice that the placement of the MDBU (left or right mouse button) positioning, especially for text files, does not persist across XY restart. Start XY on my primary monitor (no.1), top right. MDBU on an image, image blows up at the cursor. MDBU on a t...

Custom Copy destination space incorrect
I have a small (< 200MB) partion, M: that is used for disk mountpoints. For example m:\backup\Back01 m:\backup\Back02 --- m:\library\Lib01 m:\library\Lib02 ... where Backnn and Libnn are the mountpoints. If I try to custom copy a large (>200MB) file from a network drive to a disk mounted within this...
