Ok, thx for the reply.
Unfortunately, I don't have the skills to script it (funny how these days, it is assumed everyone knows how to code!)

This might be impossible? (copy/paste issue...)

Hi, I have 74 videos each in separate folders that I need to shrink in size using Handbrake. However, since Handbrake doesn't support scanning the content of multiple folder, I used this workaround... I searched for "*.mp4", in the parent folder of those 74 subfolders containing the videos...

'Send to' shortcut pointing to wrong folder?

Hi, I created a shortcut for an app that I put in Windows' 'SendTo' folder so that I can use the 'Send To' feature in the context menu. Re: How to get rid of the '+' sign next to folders when no subfolders present?

Ok, thanks! Finally got it...not sure I've learned anything new though?
As I said, I see it scans my hard drives and I get roughly 88 seconds in total.

Re: How to get rid of the '+' sign next to folders when no subfolders present?

I...don't know? I'm not even sure what is a 'tree'? I have a 10TB hard drive sitting on my desk, that's the one making all the noise for +- 2 minutes.

Re: How to get rid of the '+' sign next to folders when no subfolders present?

Hmm...maybe not so perfect after all :eh: . At every start up, it has to check every folder, which lasts a few minutes and makes a hell of a noise on my hard drive and disrupts using XY until finished. I can see myself disabling it because it's going to get annoying very quickly I'm afraid  . T...

How to get rid of the '+' sign next to folders when no subfolders present?

For some odd reason, when browsing folders, regardless of whether that folder contains any subfolders or not, it will always have a '+' sign to its left to expand it? I would prefer to have the Windows Explorer behavior where, if the folder doesn't contain any subfolder, you won't see a '+' sign to ...
