Vertical Bar for buttons in 2 pane mode
When in 2 pane mode I would like a thin button bar to appear between the panes with two buttons - move to pane and copy to pane. When in single pane mode the button bar and buttons should not be present.

Re: Most readable font
I use Noto Sans for everything. For Mono fonts I use JetBrains Mono for everything from text editing to coding.

Question: change hover color
Hi - i noticed as I hover my cursor over items in the tree and the list the rows change color - slightly. Is is possible to change this color? For me when using the zebra striping the non-striped rows don't change color, whilst the striped rows change to a very light gray.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: Session Manager [v6.50]
Thanks - that worked. I didn't realize I needed this as I use English Windows.highend wrote: ↑01 May 2020 10:56 And you're really using the UTF-16 version from viewtopic.php?p=172225#p172225
?
If yes, do your used fonts support all unicode characters?
Thank you!

Re: Session Manager [v6.50]
This is not a huge deal but maybe some can help. I am seeing the following for a saved layout:
[Single Autosave ]
I am actually seeing this in some other apps UI's as well now and then. Are the characters part of the design?
Can someone point me in the right direction to solve this?

Re: Screen Capture Util
Screenpresso https://www.screenpresso.com/ is free for even commercial use and has a cost for advanced functions. The workflow is very nice - screenshot and the image goes to the clipboard for immedaite pasting. The editor is great for annotations. The free version allows for HD video. I'm not affil...

Screenpresso. I even own a license of SnagIT - which is very expensive - and I still prefer Screenpresso.

Re: Best mouse
I’ve switched to the Logitech roller ball for non-gaming. It’s easy on my wrist and so far for office stuff there are no limitations. I wouldn’t try playing a video game with it though. I do recommend it though - give it a try! https://www.logitech.com/en-us/product/mx-ergo-wireless-trackball-mouse

Column collapse and fill control
I would like to control which columns collapse and fill as you shrink the window. As I collapse the window the file name would shrink and the modified date would stay visible but other columns would disappear - or - collapse.

Menu - Help - Contents and Index -> Main Topics - Folder View Settings Brilliant! Thank you so much! Tool named “D” crashed again today doing a search with a requirement to search in files for a word. This was after the latest patch. I’m out - XY for life :) loving learning what this thing can do.

Columns based on directory
Hi - I am learning loads about XYplorer and I am loving it. I am really converting!
Question: can I define specific columns for specific directories? For instance - the Dimensions custom column I would like limited to Downloads and Pictures directories.
Thanks for your guidance!

Re: File Managers
I own Dopus and XY - both lifetime licenses. I used to use Dopus daily and poked around XY. Lately I have had to search many files and directories for files with text content inside. Dopus crashes right away. XY doesn’t crash. Same searches same files. I have a lot to learn with XY to use it to its ...

Auto fill, collapse, auto for columns
Hello - I would like to define the behavior of how the columns collapse, or don't, when I resize the window. I apologize if this has been asked and answered, I did search and was unable to find what I was looking for. My reference is the competing product starts with a D. I want to use XYplorer, thi...

Re: 64bit version?
There is a file manager from a company in Australia that has been 64-bit for some time. Provides all of the XYPlorer functions that "I" require - I am sure there are plenty of scripting things other user's of XYplorer require that are not in the Australian software I am using. I have no ch...
