Stop the changes!
I have been using XYplorer since it was TrackerV3 but am finding it more and more confusing. I haven't taken the last few versions because they each have a learning curve and I no longer want to spend my time learning about XYplorer features. I simply want to use XYplorer to improve my productivity....

I wonder if this has changed in version 14?
I can't keep up with all the new features in all the new versions! It's too exhausting. (Donald please note!)

Re: Can I search for shortcut links?
Thank you for the replies. Is there another way to do this because If I use the extension .lnk then it gets messy using complex wildcards such as those with OR operations.
Similarly how do I search for folders? I tried the extension .fol but it doesn't work.
Thank you very much for any info.

Can I search for shortcut links?
Can XYplorer do a search in a directory to find only shortcut links?
I had tried doing this in Windows Explorer but can't see the file type for shortcut link in the dropdown. (I'm using WinXP.) I turned to XYplorer but can't find a way of doing it here either.

Will latest v11 be free upgrade to v8 user?
I haven't used XYplorer for a long time. I have got version 8. I see XYplorer is at version 11 now.
Can I get full access to v.11 or would I have to pay?

Where to from from v6.30 ?
Hello - I've dug out my XYplorer and I notice it's v6.30. You can tell I don't use it much. The web site says it is now on 8.50. There's certainly been a lot of development activity. Can I ask these two questions. (1) What's the highest version I can install without paying additional license fees? (...

Re: Wish Poll!
Ok, your ever-curious developer would like you to answer two questions: (1) What single feature do you miss most in XYplorer? (2) What single feature do you think others miss most in XYplorer? Gracias, merci, arigato! (1) Decent help text (2) Decent help text. I'm not trying to be funny or trying t...

Re: XYplorer changes search folder as soon as search starts!
Although it is not related to autocomplete as I have that turned off. You have turned off my autocomplete but you cannot turn off Windows autocomplete. My mistake in mixing up windows and XYplorer autocomplete. Tweakui (in the Common Dialogs section) can enable/disable Win XP autocomplete. (Assumin...

Re: XYplorer changes search folder as soon as search starts!
I cannot reproduce your problem, but it might be related to the built-in auto-complete of Windows comboboxes: if you type something into the edit field and then open the dropdown list (click the arrow on the right end), the edit field will be set to the first entry that matches what you have typed ...

XYplorer changes search folder as soon as search starts!
XYplorer 4.40.0040. XP Pro + SP2. Intermittent problem. "Autocomplete Name And Location Field" is OFF. "Remember Find Mode Between Sessions" is ON. --------- I launch XYplorer from a shortcut which specifies a start directory. XYplorer launches fine and the directory shown in the...

Hilite branches - strong colors
Did the following get implemented in TV3?
"Hilite branches - strong colors" feature as shown in Fig 4 of 5:

Did Fig 5 of 5's "the same but level indented" get implemented as an option?
Thanks for any info.

URL link to go to latest beta in "future history"
This is a question on how to use the forum software. Is there a link I can store in my browsers Favorites list which will take me to the most recent posting in "Future history of TrackerV3 and BETA version" This URL takes me to the start of that thread: http://www.trackerv3.com/forum/viewt...

List of changes in Beta since last official release
Posted in the forum "Future history of TrackerV3 and BETA version" are change lists in green letters. Are these list made up of since (a) the last beta or (b) are they changes since the last official release? I tend to think the lists are changes since the last beta. Is this right? I don't...
