Re: A few bugs...
1. Cannot repro. Well, I can. I actually came here to report that bug. It is completely consistent on my computer; "Jump to Setting..." has never worked and always produces that error. Attached is a snapshot of the error dialog. I cannot really tell what steps are needed to reproduce, as ...

Yes, I have that too and that was where I found it (while you were all trying to point me to that!).SammaySarkar wrote:Hmm, I have a context menu item at the very top, and this isn't available in WE context menu. Do you have it? (is it XY feature or comes from OS?)

Re: Is there a "Go To Shortcut Target" command?
That said Don should probably add the Shortcut Target commands to the To Clipboard and Go menus, so that they can be easily accessed via keyboard in XY-Free. Yes, I agree. Also because I was, as a new, exploring user, looking in the Go menu, as I would expect such functionality to be there. When it...

Re: Is there a "Go To Shortcut Target" command?
Oh, now I found it!
Right click the shortcut file and select Shortcut Target → Go to Shortcut Target!
I hadn't thought of right clicking, as I thought that would only bring up the normal Windows context menu of the file...

Re: Is there a "Go To Shortcut Target" command?
Thank you, grindax, for your suggestion. But my shortcuts are all over my folders, and I have literally thousands of them. I use them extensively to organize and make relations between folders and files on my computer – kind of like interneurons or axons in a brain. So I really need that "follo...

Is there a "Go To Shortcut Target" command?
Hi everybody! Is there a way to go to the destination of a file shortcut (a *.lnk file with a file , not a folder, as destination) to move focus to its destination file? In Altap Salamander, you can press Ctrl+T to do that, and I have been using that extensively when I used that program. It is calle...

Re: Main menu bar has disappeared
I disagree that it will work just as well (it's a usability thing and I described how that works for a newcomer), but I do agree that Marco's idea is much simpler to implement. There is no doubt that usability takes time to implement. :) With Marco's idea the chance is smaller that a newcomer makes ...

Re: Main menu bar has disappeared
Thank you so much, both of you! It worked! :D And now that you mention it, I do remember pressing the arrow keys around that time, apparently with the Alt key too for some strange reason. And I too believe that one solution could be to make the shortcut a little more complicated. Maybe just Alt+Shif...

Main menu bar has disappeared
I just installed XYplorer for the first time and played around with it a bit (a few minutes), and it looks very promising! But suddenly the main menu bar was gone: Screenshot - 2014-05-11, 19_58_00 - Computer - XYplorerFree 14.00.0100 - XYplorer Free Edition.png I have searched everywhere to get it ...
