- Open \\XYplorer\Data\Thumbnails\XYThumbs.txt

Re: Deletion of Thumbnails
Thanks, binocular222. I must have missed that post, since I tend to avoid scripting discussions, finding them too technical. I'm using XYplorerFree, anyway, so scripts are not an option. What I had in mind was opening a folder, going to the thumbnail config dialogue, directly or by right-clicking th...

Deletion of Thumbnails
If I empty one folder that previously contained images for which XYplorer had created thumbnails, is there an easy way of deleting the thumbnails from the cache? Obviously I wouldn't want to delete all of my thumbnails, otherwise I'd have to regenerate them. Up 'til now I've been opening XYThumbs.tx...

Re: Properties pane, update timestamp, additional modifiers
@prino: Looks like I need to browse through the help file more often, because I didn't even know about that UTC option.
Thanks for helping me discover it!
The option to change the modified and created dates of images to their EXIF dates is another great feature.

Re: Special Property Title to Read ID3v2
Those properties don't show up in the info panel, either, but what I don't quite understand is why I can still get the file info tips to display them just fine. In fact, I can even get information overload by enabling too many properties in those info tips.

Re: Thumb regenerate
Have you tried the "Cache thumbnails to disk" option in the thumbnail configuration dialog? That eliminates the need for all the thumbs to be created from scratch each time you open the folder, except for new images or ones that have been modified. Of course, the thumbnail cache can use up...

Re: Weird behavior in configuration dialog
I guess there are a lot of different approaches one could take. If the bold headings were unclickable altogether and just there to describe the submenus as a kind of group, the user would soon learn to click the subheadings instead. Or, if they're clickable, they could function like the parent folde...

Re: Weird behavior in configuration dialog
I can confirm that the configuration dialog is busted in the free version of 14.00. Looks like in hiding those options not available in free the index of the categories gets out of sync with their corresponding option panes. That's exactly what I suspect. The dialog appears to have been re-worked, ...

Weird behavior in configuration dialog
I'm using XYplorerFree version 14.00.0000 on a Windows 7 netbook. Great program, and everything appears to be working just fine except for the configuration dialog, where the submenus are misplaced. Examples: Clicking on "File Operations" brings up an empty page with the appropriate title ...
