Go to Help/List all commands and find the ID of the command you're looking for (#646 for what you're after here).
Create a user button and have it call that command ID.
Help is your friend with additional info on this.

Thanks Ralph. It was very straightforward.

Line spacing issue upon changing font size

Hi all, Due to crazy resolution on Microsoft Surface devices, I had to increase the font size of Buttons and Labels to size 15. Unfortunately this has resulted in following outcome: https://i.imgur.com/bPeatap.png Can anyone advise how to fix the line spacing issue? (is it fixable at all?) I have se...

Re: Copy the path of "new folder"

This is one way of doing it, I don't know if it will suit you exactly though. If you want the whole path: copytext new(input("Folder Name", , "NewFolder"), "dir"); or if you just want the folder name: copytext gpc(new(input("Folder Name", , "NewFolder"), "dir"), "file"); you would have to use it ea...

Copy the path of "new folder"

Hi all,

Can I have a script to copy the path of the last NEW FOLDER created by user?

I want this script to be running all the times i.e. whenever I create a new folder, the path of it should be copied into clipboard. Is it possible?

Regards

Sort base on Type AND Name

Hi all,

I am pretty new to XYplorer. Is there any solution to sort my files based on their Type AND name? I mean I want all my JPG files to sit next to each other and also sorted based on their names. Similarly all my dwg files sit next to each other and sorted based on their name and so on.

Re: Filter common part of file names in the list

Much appreciate it dude. :appl: One last issue and that should be it: The ignored file names are currently shown in the form of 'full path + file name'. How can I edit your REGEX code and get rid of the item paths? And I assume I should be able to suppress showing the file extensions though your REG...

Re: Filter common part of file names in the list

I would say let's ignore all other filenames that do not contain the 'common' bit. Is that achievable? So their normal name should be displayed? And from your example: QC-BB6-ELE-DWG-000065_A.PDF The displayed name should look like: ELE-DWG-000065_A.PDF ? Btw, your custom column is wrong, the Type ...

Re: Filter common part of file names in the list

How that script must look like? Give a few real names and how they should exactly be displayed. What about all other files that don't match that naming scheme? I would say let's ignore all other filenames that do not contain the 'common' bit. Is that achievable? Following are some of my file names ...

Re: Filter common part of file names in the list

This would be possible, but you'd need a custom column for it (you can't use the "Name" column for that). The CC needs to use a script to display that name. How that script must look like? Give a few real names and how they should exactly be displayed. What about all other files that don't match th...

Filter common part of file names in the list

Hi Folks,

How can I filter the common part of filenames in my list and preferably apply it to all folders? I have a long list of files which they all start with let's say 'XYZ-110-[etc]'. What I am asking is how to have them listed as '[etc]' only. Does that make sense? Is it possible?

Missing separators from "Favourite Folders" in the catalogue

Guys, Why can't I see my separators in Favourite Folders which is inserted in a catalogue? Look at following pictures. Here is how my Favourite folders have been set up to have three horizontal separators: http://i61.tinypic.com/10yqn11.jpg And this is what I get after adding Favourite Folders to th...
