Re: Can't exit full screen preview...
I have the same problem in 17.20.0200. I have PDF-Viewer installed, I think it's using that plug-in. Hit F11 for full screen preview, but cannot exit without killing XYplorer. There is no status bar visible, the preview pane takes up the entire screen (including beneath the task bar). There is a sta...

Re: Windows 10 show everything in my Home folder
I did that but it puts duplicate items in File Explorer so I deleted them.
But I put them back now and you know what it works perfectly in XYplorer which is where I spend all my time anyway so I'll keep them. Thanks

Re: Windows 10 show everything in my Home folder
I don't use the tree much if at all, but I see what you mean about using that Links folder - my custom links do show up inside Links and at the top under "This PC" if I have the tree open. But I'd prefer to get Documents, Music, Photos, and Videos to appear in the list view under my home f...

Windows 10 show everything in my Home folder
I've set my Documents, Music, Photos, and Videos to save to a different drive. In Windows File Explorer these folders appear in my Home folder. Can I achieve this in XYplorer? Instead of just the folders that are physically stored there.

Re: Edit with Atom
Thanks - I got this to work but is there any way to activate the Atom window? Currently the Atom icon flashes in the taskbar and I have to select it manually to bring it to the front. UPDATE: I had to remove the quotes from <selitems> to get it to work with multiple files, like so: run ""&...

Edit with Atom
Anyone using Atom, have you found a decent way to launch it in a user script? Right now I'm using C:\Users\-----\AppData\Local\atom\bin\atom.cmd but it pops up a command window which is not elegant. Atom's installation is so unbelievably convoluted - there is no simple atom.exe to point to - well, o...

Preview in dual pane
Hi, I just upgraded from 15.60 to 16.60 and discovered the preview pane feature. Since I exclusively use dual panes, I was wondering if there was a way to put the preview into the inactive pane rather than a third, new pane?

Re: Cannot kill XYplorer on this folder
I get "Not Found: Location or Item"... But I was able to execute the command from the Scripting menu and all was good. Then I relaunched the application and the problem was gone. Not sure what happened but thanks

Re: Cannot kill XYplorer on this folder
It is a fresh install of the latest version 14.70 but with all settings copied over from a slightly earlier version that was on another machine that I no longer use.

Cannot kill XYplorer on this folder
XYplorer hangs on a specific folder, and only this folder, every time. The only solution is to log off Windows. Some clues about the folder - (a) it is on an external USB drive (b) the drive is formatted as HFS+ (c) it is being accessed in Windows 7 via Apple Boot Camp (d) the folder is perfectly ac...

Re: error trying to start xyplorer 13.4
Weird. My PC got hosed this morning - no idea why. Browsers, Outlook, etc. all broken. Went thru CHKDISK and everything seemed to work... except XYplorer was giving the error described above. But this post was helpful because the XYplorer.ini file was totally corrupted but luckily I had a recent bac...

Re: User Defined Commands disappeared
Yeah, I managed to restore the user commands from another machine. Strange that just a couple files were trashed out of the whole settings directory.

I can't reproduce it either - it went away a little later for no particular reason
