Re: 17.60 Can't resize small toolbar icons
Screenshot? Which screen resolution do you use? To be able to use 17.60 with large buttons you could modify the XYplorer.ini (after updating, saving your settings once AND closing XY) Change ToolbarLarge=0 To: ToolbarLarge=1 That's only a workaround but I can't replicate that issue (from 17.40 to 1...

Re: What are the best file managers for Windows?
I just tried to give XY a vote but I don't use Facebook nor Slant and as a privacy advocate I don't link my gmail account to either of these, so in reality I was unable to vote. But in Virtual Reality I AM able to vote, so I gave XY 10 votes, giving XY a comfortable lead (though virtual). Remember, ...

17.60 Can't resize small toolbar icons
I just updated from version 17.40 to 17.60. What a mistake! All of my toolbar buttons suddenly went from large to small making them very difficult to see  . From the Help, I concluded the place to correct this was in the Tools/Customize Toolbar panel...mistake # 2. In 17.60, the Customize Too...

Re: Lower Pane still does not save when exiting
Evtl. you've set a tweak like: ; Tweak: 0=Favs, 1=Favs Full, 2=Drives, 3=Drives+Special, 4=Tabs, 5=FavFiles, 6=Script CEA_TreeRightClickOnWhite=0 Yes that is exactly what I have and the issue persists. Does this affect the space to the Left of the folder names, or to the Right of the folder names, ...

Re: Lower Pane still does not save when exiting
After painstakingly and carefully copying individual settings from my original No_Install to a new No_Install Xyplorer.ini, I have the tabs being saved and remembered correctly (for now) :D . However a new issue has arisen: If I right-click in open space to the Left of folders in the Tree, I get the...

Re: Lower Pane still does not save when exiting
The selected tab of the selected pane is supposed to be set to the Permanent Startup path on start up. That's not a bug. You say this also happens to other tabs? Then is there a setting to save all the tabs in each pane, so as to re-create them again upon the next restart - and not default to the P...

Re: Lower Pane still does not save when exiting
Yes, something in the process of saving the settings (a DAT or INI file) might by out of order by some invalid values (wherever they came from) so that parts of the code are skipped. I changed something that might improve this in the next beta version. Thank you! I have not been standing still on t...

Re: Lower Pane still does not save when exiting
admin wrote:You said " Sometimes it works - sometimes it does not save all panes". Check those dates again when it does not work.
The dates are current and correct for both panes. Can this issue be caused by corruption in one of the *.dat files?

Lower Pane still does not save when exiting
This has been mentioned before, but I cannot find a clear and useful answer. The issue; There should be a simple, clear, straightforward way to simply auto-save the work-space including contents (tabs) of all panes when exiting. I cannot make it work on a regular basis. I seem to have to always File...

Re: Some Color settings not changing or saving
1. Most color settings I tried immediately appear changed when I close configuration [click OK] but this one does not change: List (Browse) |Selected Rows . This color seems to be governed by Windows. In Windows 7, classic theme, you could set this color, but no longer in Windows 10, at least not e...

Re: Tip: PDF preview with PDF-XChange Editor (portable)
After following these steps, I assume to preview PDF with PDF-XChange portable installed and as the default PDF viewer, in XYplorer I would click: Window/Show Preview Pane. If so, this is not working on Windows 7 32-bit; getting message "Cannot preview" (perhaps a difference in the registr...
