Re: Access to network shared folders

You do the mapping on the computer you're connecting from.

Does not matter whether the shared resource is on internal or external drives, as long as you are able to access it using UNC, then you will be able to map a drive letter for persistence.

Re: Access to network shared folders

Well, the credentials you supply using the UNC connection are still stored in the Windows Credential Manager, so it's still worthwhile to go there and delete the stored credentials for the network resource, then reestablish them by navigating (in Windows Explorer) to \\Server\Share. Re: Access to network shared folders

I suggested remapping, as I'm assuming you've assigned a drive letter to the network share, e.g. T:\bar, rather than accessing the share each time using the Universal Naming Convention (UNC), that is in the form of \\Server\Share, e.g. \\Rocket\Foo\bar By remapping, you detach the assigned drive let...

Re: Do NOT scroll list to top

I just found that the "back" button does what I want, but not the back mouse button or the "Up" action. Now I just need to figure out how to remap the back mouse button the action that is the Back toolbar button.

Re: Do NOT scroll list to top

More detail: "Select last used subfolder" seems to be related here. With that option checked, I get the above described behavior. With that option unchecked, returning to the parent folder scrolls to the top of the list. I don't want either of those behaviors, ideally I would like to have ...

Do NOT scroll list to top

I've tried searching but have not found the answer to this question: When in the middle of a details list view, upon returning from a subfolder (either via back mouse button, or "up"), the selected list view item is always scrolled to the top. I've tried disabling "Configuration | Gen...

"Modern Style"?

Apologies in advance if I'm overlooking something obvious... There have a been a number of recent changes referencing "Modern Style", but I can't seem to find any reference to this in the Configuration dialog or in the help system. The only place I see anything similar is in the "Sele...

I'm now seeing a system notification icon for XY, is this new? Is there any way to suppress/hide this icon?
