Re: File Managers
After using XYplorer for more than 13 years you take the time to write an elaborate post just to diss it and praise others? :? What went wrong? Angry? Not really, just posting a personal opinion on file managers, on a thread about File Mnagers under a section about Discussion. I owned a License for...

Re: File Managers
As a paid Customer of Total Commander (Since what seems a lifetime LOL), XYplorer (Lifetime Licence) and Directory Opus. I want to give my two cents on all of them. Total commander Rock solid as a a Diamond. If I was tasked with going to war with just one thing, I would blindly take Total Commander ...

Re: XYPlorer hang on file deletion
I am having a similar problem : When I delete files/folders in XYplorer, it hangs (menu bar goes blank, can't do anything, etc.), sometimes up to 1 minute. I can go delete this file or any other in MS Explorer while XY is hung without any problem........................ I'm having the same exact pr...

Re: Constant Crashes
I asked because XYplorer was crashing on me a lot for some time and never understood the reason behind it. Then suddenly remembered that all started since I changed AV to Microsoft Security Essentials. Ever since i reverted back to Avira AV the crashes haven't appeared. I was just wondering because ...

Re: Command for mp3 users
Perhaps we should go a step further and consolidate all sources of scripts (Script Exchange forum, XYplorer Help file, Wiki, users' own collections) in one place with proper documentation, tags that would make it easier to search and upload capabilities so ZIPs and screenshots could be uploaded. Th...

Re: Please put the submenus back under the View Menu
I just read the first page so don't know if this has been proposed. I agree with Don about the options being "set & forget". So why not putting those inside the configuration panel and be done with it. There you have my opinion /me hides just i case 8) --edit-- Don mentioned this above...

Question about closing search tab
Is it possible to prevent the search tab from being locked.
I get the locked tab warning every time I try to close a search results tab. Any way to change that behavior.

Re: Unheralded feature?
Ok...so I took Don's list, did some editing in Excel & WordPad and created the following which is full list of cmds (as of Oct 6, 2009)suitable for copy/pasting as right-click on a CTB as I'd wished... Nice one! :D I should actually put that list somewhere to the license lounge. Or the wiki for...

Re: Can the inputfolder command return Short Path Names
Amazing what someone can learn by asking.
As a person that learns mainly by example, I really apreciate you for taking the time to respond.
Thank you again guys for the help.

Re: Question about global variables
Thanks for taking the time to explain in all detail what you did in the code above. I think your approach makes more sense than the route previously mentioned. By reviewing your code I'm now getting a better grip about how to tackle this problems.
Thank you again for your help.
