Re: WSL - Location currently not available

And have just noticed that I can only view my WSL home folder contents when in mini-tree mode. When not, it's the location not available message again.

WSL - Location currently not available

Hi, Using version 20.80.0500 I am able to browse to my WSL home directory at \\wsl$\Debian\home\<username>. However, if I try to browse further up the tree, at \\wsl$\Debian I get the location not available message in the file pane. This works in Windows Explorer, and I can see the rest of the top l...

Close right tabs

It would be nice to include a 'Close tabs to right' which, fairly obviously, would close all open tabs to the right of the currently open tab (just as in Chrome).

Zip file preview background in dark mode

I'm using 19.90 and very much enjoying dark mode.

However, I notice when previewing zip files, the background of the preview pane remains light. Is it possible in this version to make it dark? With other file types the preview pane remains dark.

Possible to save Find Files filters?

I often use the Find Files operations with varying parameters. These are often complex combinations that tend to be repeated. So what of course happens is that I do: 1. Ctrl-F to enter the Find Files dialog 2. Set my criteria for search 1 3. Execute search 1 4. Set my criteria for search 2 5. Execut...

Context menu showing limited options

I am searching for files under a folder by Ctrl-F, entering some criteria and selecting Find Now. This returns a number of files as expected. If I then highlight a number of these files and then right click to get the context menu, I get a very limited selection of options, excluding the one I am af...

Re: Change colour of preview pane background

Not a great solution. The dark background is only applicable when no file selected in list.

Change colour of preview pane background

Hi, I have customised the colours of the tree and list backgrounds to provide for a darker viewing experience, a kind of night-mode. This works fine until I open the preview pane, typically to view the contents of some text file, where the background is the more standard light grey. Is it possible t...

Re: Can't open configuration file

OK think I have figured it out. Problem was nothing to do with xyp as I figured, and affected all ini files under the roaming folder. Or in fact, probably any other. I had a registry key HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Window NT\Current Version\Image FIle Execution Options\notepad.exe which which had a valu...

Re: Can't open configuration file

New file is created. Same as before, previews and opens in editor no problem. Is just a problem opening via double click in explorer or via xyp.

Re: Can't open configuration file

Nope. Same message. Only happening with this file. Double clicking any others in the folder opens them successfully.
