Hello,
Suddenly getting this installation error after years of successfully installing updates.
Also fails via downloading the full (trial) version and running the exe.
(I have the registered (paid) version.
Peace,
Jay Zebryk

Insert Date into File Name
Hello,
When creating or renaming files, I very frequently manually enter the current date in ISO 8601 format. (2019-06-17)
It would seem there might be already an easy way of doing this via a Function Key or Command.
Has anyone an answer?
Thanks,
Jay Zebryk

Windows Set File Associations Ignored?
Under Windows 10, opening jpg image files set to open with Irfan works fine. After specifically adding this to the XY CFA (jpg; png>C:\Program Files (x86)\IrfanView\i_view32.exe) works fine as well. My confusion is I would think that XY would use the Windows file associations by default unless over-...

Global Folder View Reset
I am looking for a simple method to reset the Folder View properties of all folders and subfolders. Ideally this would be the entire computer starting with the root of the c:\drive. If there is some default view similar to the Windows default "General" template, this would be fine. The big...

Re: Scrolling Speed/Distance
I have this problem as well and find it quite annoying. Of mention, it is much, much worse with a folder containing 100's of photos. Also, it is even worse when calling a network share. I have gone back to a local USB for my images and, although the problem is less so it still exists. Although this ...

Re: Tool Bar Short-Cut/Favorite Folder Icon
Ok, I'm getting it...
Name is NOT a LABEL for the Button Icon but a command!
Script is a collection of functions and commands.
I like it.
Tabs are great but they tend to pile up and get confusing.
The ToolBar Button is(or can be) absolute.
Thanks,
I am now buying a copy.

Re: Tool Bar Short-Cut/Favorite Folder Icon
Wonderful! 1. This was exactly what I was looking for. Thankyou for pointing the way! 2. FYI, I was only looking for a simple "Easy" button. Listing this under "Smart Dropdown Buttons" eluded me as it embraced functionality way beyond my objective. Perhaps for other persons not s...

Tool Bar Short-Cut/Favorite Folder Icon
Hello, I am looking for a simple way to add an icon to the toolbar to open a frequently used folder. Please see the attached screen capture of xplorer2 which allows this. The big idea is to have button which does not shift around at all. Only a few of these would be desired. Thanks, Jay Zebryk South...
