I think the problem lies with some Non-Unicode Components used in the XYPlorer which intrinsically does not support Unicode Characters and displays ???? instead. All other MS Software including Excel/Access/Word correctly displays Unicode which shows there is no issue of Windows or MS not supporting...

Thank God, everybody agreed after all !!! Programmer can consider switching Office Components (Forms 2) with VB6 as I suggested. By the way, I am using Pramukh IME, from vishalon.net. It is a basically single file software. No install, no Admin rights needed. Stays in Tray and lots of keyboard short...
