I have PDF-Xchange Editor for years. No problems.

I have PDF X-Change Viewer (not Editor). Should this make a difference? I wouldn't think so.
In my experience, there is a significant difference between Editor and Viewer, also regarding XY and the MDBU.

Re: Auto Size Name Column When Window Shrinks Smaller

Probably a nice idea, but it still is a bit buggy, e.g. when I "restore/shrink" the window and then "maximize" it again, the name column is much wider than the list view (although before all columns fit nicely) although the minimum width is set to a narrower value than the lists width and the string...

Re: [AHK] redirecting Windows Explorer to XY

Hello hankr123 and welcome to the forum! Thanks for replying. It keeps me motivated to keep working on my script. Unfortunately, I don't understand most of your post. Could you, please, give it another try to explain. I would love to help and improve my script, but I don't really understand, so far,...

Re: [AHK] redirecting Windows Explorer to XY

So, finally I am back for now. Couldn't check it before in the source because I was away, sorry that it took so long. You are right, StringReplace, path, path, file:/// is in the code, but it is a function which I copied from someone else. Therefore I did not remember / know it when I answered at fi...

Re: [AHK] redirecting Windows Explorer to XY

StringReplace, path, path, file: doesn't do anything? Where in the code did you add it?
And why do you think that StringReplace, path, path, file://, should work?

Re: Session Manager [v6.60]

• How do you update the titlebar template automatically? As mentioned before, the only way I’ve found is to change something to the tabs. My latest approach is just to let the existing tabset("save"…) do the work for me, by placing any alias update before them. You misunderstood. I meant how to do ...

Re: Session Manager [v6.60]

awesome, glad that we teamworked. I also have it set up to display at the beginning of the titlebar text. am thinking that this is the best way. It is such a big improvement for me to be able to quickly check/see which session I am in... am also happy you adopted it into the official code. The other...

Re: Session Manager [v6.60]

P.S.: It seems that for some reason the sub "_Update"; does also update the window title bar nicely without folder/tab/pane change. I don't know why and also don't understand what the sub is supposed to be doing. But could you not use it for the titlebar as well, in cases like save as or rename?

Re: Session Manager [v6.60]

I am glad that I could contribute. :kidding: In Step 1 of my post above, I noted that placing the line goto "@SMSessionTitle=" . $DYN_InpSess; before the auto-saving stuff updates the titlebar before any tab/folder changing/loading happens - at least visually - so much so, that there would be delay ...

Re: Session Manager [v6.60]

Regarding my idea from the previous post: I now realized that the XY's window titlebar does not get updated when just saving a session under a different name... Maybe there are also other scenarios where this is not the case. Wondering about a solution... so far, a manual change of the current sessi...

Re: Session Manager [v6.60]

Hi all, Hi Flux, I have an idea for a simple new feature: Session name in window title bar. Two steps: Step 1) I added the line goto "@SMSessionTitle=" . $DYN_InpSess; in this context: // ------------------------------------------------------------------------>>> Loading goto "@SMSessionTitle=" . $D...

How can I refresh the window title via scripting?

Hi all, I have an Alias in the titlebar template with <get alias ...>. However, when I change the alias (via scripting), it does not automatically refresh the title bar. So, I am looking for a way how to refresh it with another line of scripting. But how??? Refresh does not help. Many thanks in adva...

Re: Session Manager [v6.50]

Hi Flux,
4) Ok, didn't think of that. It's understandable though and makes sense. It also is not really important.
3) Yes, that's exactly what I had in mind. Thank you already.
