Script for deleting all files except by selected file type
Using the UDC (User-Defined Commands), I've created a simple script from commands and assigned an keyboard shortcut (ALT+6 in my case): ________________________________________________ #254;#252;#169;#642 (Select by file type / invert selection / delete files / empty recycle bin) ___________________...

Sorry for the repetition, JC, and thanks for the welcome. I searched 'scripts' and didn't find that topic. This can be merged with that one if you like or delete it. Script-sharing and debugging seems a natural evolution of the forum, now that XYplorer has it. And all XYplorer users should know that...

Way to remove the 'delete multiple items' dialog?
Is there a way to remove or bypass this dialog when deleting many items? http://www.anova.org/target/xyplorer/delete-multiple-dialog.png I have both the turn off delete confirmation option checked for both XYplorer and the Recycle Bin. And, this only displays when I use the #642 key (empty recycle b...

Should we have a new forum section for scripts?
Given how CKS and scripting really unleash the power of XYplorer, I'm wondering if we shouldn't create a new forum section on the Index page for sharing them among users? If not, we can put them in the Tips & Tricks, Questions & Answers section.
Don, your call.

Once again, the customizable keyboard shortcuts features are
fantastic! In the CKS dialog, the presence of the Options and All Free Shortcuts features save me a ton of time when committing them to memory. XYplorer has evolved to much more than I ever thought I would need out of a file manager and search tool.
Thanks Don!

User-Defined Commands -- WOW!
Once again, Don, you have blown my mind and shown that you're way, way ahead of my wildest imagination for such a feature. Thank you for taking the time to incubate this idea ; it truly is intuitive as you say. And for those using short catalogs, this feature allows you to bypass it if you choose, i...
