Re: Any way to suppress Win10 File Progress Box with Green B
Note that "Custom Delete" is on my list. This will be a much faster delete: no recycle bin, no updating jump lists, just a raw kill. Really looking forward to this since I just encountered the whole slow deleting problem on Windows 10 – also tested with WE and get the exact same behaviour...

Re: Recursive alpha sort the contents of selected files/fold
I do have a licence for BC4, so I will probably use that. Interesting about Sort! Thanks for everyone's help, I knew this would be the place to get answers

Recursive alpha sort the contents of selected files/folde
I have a kind of general text manipulation question, but I know how good some of your xy scripting gurus are, so I figured it was worth asking here. Of course, if there’s a better tool for the job, I’d be equally happy to be pointed in the right direction. I would like to alpha sort the lines (conte...

Re: [Script] TimeSync 1.1 Beta2 - January 8, 2015
[Split] Hmm, "Quick Select", that would have probably a better name than "Flat Select"... :eh: Haha, whoops, sorry, that's how I read it. I'm struggling with the syntax of the new timestamp scripting and I can't find a full explanation of the various options – I'm obviously look...

Wow Don. Looks like you just gave us all the tools required for my little ditty above! http://www.xyplorer.com/release_15.00.htm see the "Timestamping" section.
Thank you so much, this is amazing.
(so is the quick select btw, these two changes are massive for me, so again thanks )

GUI is hard
Just glad the settings for most things in XY or text formatted, so you can edit them directly if you need to.

Re: Make all list views display ISO 8601 dates and times
Thanks for the info Sammay.
Unfortunately the script didn't do the trick for me (I have a stupid number of tabs) but a good old bit of find and replace across all files in the /Data/Panes directory seems to have done the trick.

Make all list views display ISO 8601 dates and times
I've had a look around, but can't seem to find a way to globally change how dates and times are displayed in all of my listview tabs (current and future), but without changing any of the other listview settings for any of the current tabs. Does anyone know how to do this? Basically I want to be able...

Re: [Script] TimeSync 1.1 Beta2 - January 8, 2015
Actually I have a feature request, if you would be so kind: Copy and paste timestamps. It would work something like this; select a file, activate the script (however you choose), be presented with a popup menu have two new options " C opy timestamp" and "Paste timestamp ( v )". B...

You got my hopes up there Eternal, alas XnView doesn't write DNG, only read :/ Not even their pay-for XnViewMP.
I'm glad that my little diversion has helped improve your script though (through others' expertise)

Thank you both of you, I've updated the script on the previous page. Such a great set of scripting experts here :) Please give info behind The Bug on previous page: (resolved) (I wasn't sure the red text related to this bug  ) Thanks :om: Done. Just need to get Plastic to update ...

Re: Another 7-zip script
I've personally commented out lines 343 to 361 now that bug's been fixed, since it kind of conflicts with the whole "1 archive per file" functionality. For example, if you had file.jpg and file.png selected and ran the "1 archive per file" function you will end up with a single f...

Re: Another 7-zip script
I made some more updates some time ago now when there were some more changes to scripting. The script still mostly works, but I'm calling out for help from the general community on fixing the last bug I've been unable to resolve. The Bug [resolved!] When I compress a single file, the resulting archi...

Re: [Script] TimeSync 1.1 Beta2 - January 8, 2015
The timestamp didn't save the disk space. The conversion of several hundred .arw and .cr2 files to .dng saved the disk space. I just didn't want to convert the files before (even though DNG is a better archival format – not least it saves disk space!) because I would have lost the original dates. FY...
