The screenshot seems to show the list, with a list item right-clicked, rather than the tree? Sorry ... my mistake ... i'm in the same case as Horst ... menu setting is ok for use in the tree ... but i wondered how to configure it in the folder view ... the menu appearing in that case has not the sa...

Then show the menu (a screenshot) that you get when right clicking a tree item? Here's the screen capture. the two first items ( Open in new tab and Open in another Pane ) remain visible even if i uncheck them in the settings ... Any idea ? https://i.postimg.cc/1g4KyTxw/2021-04-30-073701-H500.png

The tweak seems to work for tasks like files copy and paste operations but not for find files searches.
Is it the expected behaviour ?
Aren't find files searches "background operations" ?
