Desktop and Documents Folder
Would love the option of hiding the Desktop and Documents folder in the tree view. If this option exists now, I surely have not found it.. Thanks for listening.

Would be interesting to know...
Can someone please explain to me why the 'Cut' and 'Paste' functions in XYplorer can't simply mirror those functions in Windows Explorer ? Why must there be a 'Paste Special' with 'Paste Move' and 'Paste Copy' ? Seems terribly redundant to simple 'Cut', 'Copy' and 'Paste', at least to me. Perhaps if...

I'm sure you know this already, but if I open Windows Explorer, select a file and 'Cut' then go to XYplorer and do a normal Paste, it works as it should, delting the source file. Therefore it appears to be a problem with the Cut function in XYplorer - not the Paste function, as I believed before... ...

Won't 'Cut'
Downloaded V5.20.0062 beta. Same problem. 'Cut' still only 'Copies', unless I use 'Paste Move', then it works OK.

THANKS !
OK. This is not a 'biggie.' The problem with MS' Windows Explorer is that when a second instance is opened (there is no way to limit it to a single instance), it changes the windows positioning, which gets written to the registry. XYplorer still solves that problem. THANKS !

Marked to Copy
I'm running Win98SE on an older laptop. When I highlight a file and 'Cut', then go to Edit/Paste Special/Edit Clipboard - it reads 'Files on Clipboard (Marked to Copy).

How I Cut
I normally cut either with the Cut in the Context Menu or with the Cut in the tool bar. If I Cut and 'Paste Special - Paste (Move)' it works fine. Shouldn't the normal 'Paste' also include deleting the source file ? Using Ctrl-X has the same effect - e.g. copy instead of move.

THANKS ! Now a New Challenge
I feel guilty that I did not see these command lines in the help file, but indeed this solved the 'single instance' problem. However, now there is a slightly different issue. When I 'accidentally' open XYplorer for the second time (now it does not start a second instance), suddenly now it does not s...

Cut and Paste
I'm using V5.20.0026. If I 'cut' a file from one folder and 'paste' in into another, it remains in the original folder as well as in the new folder. Same as a copy and paste. I have tried the same function on both Windows Explorer and freeCommander, and they both work as they should - CUT and paste....

Single Instance ?
If there is a way to limit XYplorer to a single instance, I surely cannot find it. This would be a nice option. Thanks for listening.

Would Like to See Move Mean MOVE
Unless I am missing the obvious, XYplorer simply copies files from one folder to another as opposed to CUT which of course is a copy and delete. I have searched high and low to see if I missed an obvious setting somewhere, but to no avail. Why doesn't CUT mean exactly that ? We already have a 'Copy....

Separate Hidden from System Files in View
It would be GREAT to be able to hide System files, but still be able to view Hidden files, or vice versa. Personally I like to hide the 'desktop.ini' files, but allow hidden files such as the registry's 'system.dat' and 'user.dat' to remain visible. If you really want to get fancy, let the user sele...
