I'll let you two duke it out.
In the meantime, signature restored. (Didn't mean to violate forum rules.)

Re: Future updates for 32-bit version?
Ah HAH!! That's the main reason I don't put the version number in my sig or profile. A sensible man making sensible decisions! When people say, "Tell me about phred," I say, "He's sensible!" Following your lead, I have blitzed my signature, and am now 100% signature-free. Thanks...

Re: Future updates for 32-bit version?
You made me realize that my profile signature was years out of date! Fixed. Thanks, phred. I recently upgraded to the most recent 32-bit version ( 27.20.0100 ). Generally, my practice has been to delay upgrading to the latest major version release until ALL bug fixes have rolled out for the previous...

Re: Future updates for 32-bit version?
I fully intend to switch to the 64-bit version eventually. The impression I get from glancing at recent posts in the BETA Versions for Download thread is that kinks are still being ironed out of the 64-bit version. If I'm wrong about that, please correct me! Was thinking I'd wait for the new version...

Future updates for 32-bit version?
Apologies if the topic has already been covered, but will there be future updates for the 32-bit version?
Or is v27.20.0100 the end of the line?
Thanks!

Breadcrumb ghosts
As a ten-year user of XYplorer, I'm ashamed to admit that I've only just gotten around to enabling the breadcrumbs bar. So useful! Fast question: After closing multiple tabs, ghosts of the closed tabs are still visible on the breadcrumbs bar: https://i.imgur.com/mQ2MHSM.png When only one tab is open...

Re: Right-click drag & drop to create shortcut
Jupe, thank you! Back on track! All drag and drop shortcut options now work like a charm. Left to my own devices, I'm 99% sure I'd have overlooked the "Extended capability" option. So triple thanks for that, and thanks to you and highend for taking the time to help me. I really, really app...

Re: Right-click drag & drop to create shortcut
Using Windows 10 File Explorer, all drag-and-drop operations work as expected — including your "ALT" technique. (Which I like a lot, so thanks for that.) This drag-and-drop glitch must be due to an un-ticked (or wrongly ticked) XYplorer config setting. I'll continue poking around. Thanks a...

Re: Right-click drag & drop to create shortcut
Appreciate your input, highend.
ALT + left-click + drag isn't working for me either. Odd!
I'm chicken when it comes to betas, so will wait for the next major release and hope for the best. Again, thanks!

Right-click drag & drop to create shortcut
At one time, I was able to right-click on a file within the XYplorer interface, drag the file to another location (such as the desktop), release the mouse, then choose " Create shortcut here " from the context menu. I still have the " Create shortcut here " menu option, but XYplo...

Appreciate that, and thanks.
So the box, for some reason, was unchecked? I'll try upgrading again later in the week.

Re: Upgrade from 16.40 to 16.50.0200
I had the same problem.
Would you tell me how you got your Documents folder back? Unable to figure it out, I went back to 16.40. Thanks!

Re: Folder shortcut missing from Windows tree
Appreciate your input, Pat. I tinkered with those settings, to no avail.
However! Downgrading to XYplorer 16.40 fixed the problem, so all is well. Thanks again!
