The issue isn't new, it's been the same for many years. I'm not sure whether it depends how I try to open the pdf-file since it just happens in connection with updates, before restarting the computer. In Processexplorer the acrobatservices are working but never finishes.

After every update of XYplorer it's not possible to open any pdf documents (directly from XYplorer). To make it work I have to restart Windows. Then it works until the next update of XYplorer.

Exactly. I am now doing a number of large file copying just to check that I didn't push the button by mistake.

I just found out that it works on another PC with the same versions of Windows 10 Pro, XYplorer 22.90 and Adobe so it must be related to this computer, not XYPlorer.

With Process Explorer I can see that Acrobat.exe opens as a subprocess to xyplorer, but nothing more happens. I have to kill this subprocess in order to open Adobe as a standalone application.

When double-clicking a pdf-file, Adobe Acrobat DC reader starts, but no document is visible. In Windows Explorer it works.

When updating to version 19.00.0300 I suddénly noticed I had hidden files in my system (Windows 10 Pro). I have tried to check the configuration but found nothing. The same files opens corrently in Windows Explorer, so I can't figure out if something has changed in the current version?
